It's Saturday night - what you eating and what you watching?

DH is cooking a lamb chilli because it feels so cold and wintery here (raining ALL day) with wedges and rice. I'll be opening a nice bottle of Malbec as soon as DS is in bed and I think we've decided on Empire of Light for a film. How about everyone else?

I just had 'bits'. Hot crab dip with seedy bread, and marmite cream cheese with cucumber, and a glass of rosè / yum!

I've just been handed an ice cold glass of prosecco while DH cooks dinner which is pulled pork tacos. Been a long old day cooped up inside with the little ones so it is much needed! We've just finished watching The Bear on Disney+ which is brilliant if you haven't seen it so not sure what we'll be watching yet but something easy to follow as I'm knackered!

Veggie bolognese and garlic bread, watching cartoons.

Having an easy dinner as we've been doing DIY all day (redecorating the DCs room). Hopefully they'll be excited to sleep in it tonight.

I had a big lunch so no dinner and I'm watching the last show of Harry Styles' tour on Instagram.

Just been out for a walk with the dog and got drenched.
Mushroom Stroganoff with rice for supper. I really love it, very comforting.
Trying to cut down on sugar so no pudding planned.

We have found Homestead Rescue s10 on discovery and that is a definite comfort watch. The Raineys got us through lockdown and severe Covid ☺️
However, we also have s2 of Foundation to watch so will probably watch that.

Watching "Adult Material" on netflix. Just had a cottage cheese roll for dinner.

Steak with M&S parmentier potatoes, pepper sauce, salad and red wine. And watching Top Gun Maverick.

Im contemplating which takeaway to get. Everyone else is about to go out to the cinema.

I’ll be watching Seventeen on You Tube and possibly a film if I can find one that catches my eye.

Pasta earlier, now I have a coffee and am watching The Infiltrator and have an ice cream sundae.

DH made his special Wellingtons for dinner. I'm currently enjoying a mug of Lemsip while building lego (Great Pyramid of Giza)

We're eating salmon and new potatoes then watching the Wham film.

Sipping my Aperol and waiting for my Black Farmer Mango & Chilli sausages to be cooked, serving alongside a jacket potato.
Hoping to persuade DH to watch a Black Mirror or two.
Love a Saturday night in! A wedding tomorrow so I'm in for a long day...

We had M&S slow cooked lamb, peas and potatoes, I am watching The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix and DH has gone upstairs to watch Tour de France which he recorded earlier.

Lamb chops ( used a dry Indian spice rub on them) with home grown salad potatoes and runner beans. Had the fire on as it's been non stop rain all day and feels more like Autumn then summer.

I’ve made vegetable rogan josh and mushroom pilau.

Then homemade coffee ice cream for pudding.

I haven’t had a good cooking session for ages (DH has been cooking lately) so I’ve enjoyed putting some music on getting inventive!

Veggie nachos, white wine and Black Mirror

DH is cooking chicken stuffed with ricotta and sage(from the garden) wrapped in parma ham with potato croquettes and broccoli.
We have spent the afternoon watching the Tour de France - 'live' but 3 hours delayed with cat - will have to name change after this as DC is very outing.
Quite funny as Mumsnet has asked me if this is a sensitive image - cat is not dead!
