Toddler shouted out in her sleep an hour ago. She's still fast asleep. I'm still wide awake thinking about EVERYTHING

I got up to watch the first show of the 5SOS tour in Argentina.

My toddler isn't sleeping well, and I have horrendous period pain and am now having an IBS flare up. The pain is so bad I've just been sick. And I'm a single parent 😭

I've woken up because I had too much wine last night ... hadn't slept well the previous night so fell asleep too early ... but then woke up & am regretting the wine.

I seem to be in a pattern of waking up around 2.30-3 every morning recently. Some nights I can fall back to sleep, others I lie here and can’t shut my brain up. Tonight is a I can’t stop thinking/worrying night.

Worrying about work. Tired but my brain is whizzing with so much stuff i can't settle

Last night I woke up full of beans at 2:30 am. Then napped in the day, now obviously I'm not tired.

Worrrying

Worrying about some down to earth stuffs. It's been hard ride last few months. 1st time mom, grandparents haven't seen baby. Health issues in family, distance between us. Everything dragging in time and seems like it's against me

Insomnia I think, it's happening more frequently. I came downstairs for a drink and now I'm laid on the sofa watching tv hoping I'll fall asleep. I'd like to be in bed but the quiet seems to keep me awake, DH needs to be up for work (as do I) so I don't want to keep him awake. Hopefully I'll drop off soon, my mind is racing.

@Conqueeftador it's good so far - I was amazed that it's based on a true story of a rescue mission to Iran to smuggle out 6 US diplomats by pretending to make a sci-fi movie!

Crippling sciatic pain for me, I'm so exhausted and just want to sleep but in total agony.

This is me but swap the toddler for a co sleeping 9 month old 💤. He woke me about 20 mins ago. He's currently star fishing and I'm, emmm, here.....

So much marching thru my brain. Argh, need to switch off. I'll regret it tomorrow!

@blueby7 it's horrible when you want to sleep to get relief but the pain stops you :(

We live under the flight path for both RAF fairford and bride Norton

It means we see/hear lots of the military aircraft. Lovely during the day, not so much at 3am.... sounds very low tonight as well... here it comes again!

My DD is in self destruct mode (again) and I’m churning over how this will affect all our lives (again) And I definitely shouldn’t have had that glass of wine…
