Did anyone get an access code today? I applied for 3 cities and for all 3 I've been put on the wait list. No codes for me 😔

can do that, but apparently (according small print on ticketmaster) they will need credit card used to book (which I could give dd) but also photo ID. Can give DD my driving licence but although we do look alike not sure they would be convinced that she was 50 (shes 21!) so who knows....its a risk and if they do go through with thorough checking it would be awful if one of them got turned away. Im so pissed off about it. There must be loads of parents that have bought tickets for teens/dc/young people

Yeah, thats what I thought, but other people on other threads seem think they will be strict with checking and now Im just very anxious and stressed about it and really sad.

I'm a bit stressed too. I messaged axs to ask before I even bought them.

They confirmed could be transferred. However I'm not going to message now - they are probably inundated. I'll wait and see what happens.

It says lead booker now because they are trying very hard to deter touts. But it's clearly not practical to expect done if her fan base to buy their own tickets and both agents have said it will be ok. Don't worry. Sit tight. It's nearly a year away for stuff to get sorted.

yes, you're right. I have loads of life stuff going on right now so am very stressed, plus a nice dose of perimenopausal anxiety so I know I am no doubt working myself up about this too much. As you say it is ages away yet so will try to put it to the back of my mind for now.

But now for the sake of a stupid technicality they may not be able to both go. How ridiculous

Could quite easily buy 4 together @ £661 each, but can't get two normal bog standard tickets together. Absolute disgrace, money grabbing cow

This honestly doesn't make much sense.
The only reason the VIP tickets are available is because they are expensive.
You wouldn't be able to buy them easily if they were standard tickets because the demand for these is so high.

I am a big fan of her music but I think it's very money grabbing to have allocated so many standard seats to VIP- essentially hundreds and hundreds of pounds for some prints, pins and other tat is scandalous. At least with hospitality which is actually cheaper for some packages you get free bar, food, prime seats and other perks. She is the capitalist queen though, I don't think she's going for the fastest selling tour ever but the highest grossing. Apparently though across Europe she did the same and these tickets were slowly downgraded to standard seating.

Someone posted a screenshot of the map for Edinburgh which showed a fair amount of seats all VIP, this wasn't the case during pre sale. Perhaps they'd decided how many at the start and not many sold during pre sale because standard tickets were easier to get? Either way whew.

Yes I also read that loads of standard seats are being sold as ‘VIP’. I doubt that’s down to Taylor herself but you’d think she’d be able to put a stop to it. This whole thing has been incredibly stressful!

Ticketmaster have said the decions are down to the artists team, which I can quite believe to be honest. VIP is at least sort of good for standing tickets as you get early entry so can get a good spot, but for seated it's criminal. My ticket for Wembley was £75, some in the same section are being sold for hundreds more, at least they should be absolute prime seats!

I think Taylor likes breaking records and therefore wants the highest grossing tour. I don’t think it’s going to be her tour with the most dates, so she will charge as much as she can get away with.

It is a shame because some other big acts are trying to price more ethically/reasonably in response to cost of living. But, if the fans are willing to pay then I suppose that’s what drives it all at the end of the day. I think the chaos and lack of clarity around ticket purchases are worse than the prices… and probably lead to panicked fans spending more than they would otherwise.

If it wasn't about money then the VIP merch would be something you could add on when purchasing imo. There are probably people who bought standard seats who wouldn't mind buying the box of merch as long as it wasn't too pricey, but hoping people buy it as they're desperate to go is sad. I'd understand even if there was a designated section for VIP so at least you wouldn't be sat by people who had paid loads less.

Yes I suspect there are going to be a lot of people waking up in the morning regretting how much they've spent. It will be far more than they wanted to, but they didn't want to disappoint their children / relatives and they had a code so felt the pressure to buy before they were all sold out. Sad

I got in at 11.09 for Anfield.
Only VIP left.

Got in at 1.16 for next sale again only VIP

Finally got in 15.12 and only VIP.

Each time less than 3000 people ahead of me so I doubt there were many standard tickets available in the first place.

It’s disgusting to see how many are already on stub hub for £500+

They said the same thing with the Ed Sheeran concert and in reality they didn’t even check. They say that to put the touts off (not that it worked) but they don’t actually enforce it.
