Did anyone get an access code today? I applied for 3 cities and for all 3 I've been put on the wait list. No codes for me 😔

I'm going to the Cardiff show, does anyone know if if they put on extra trains in the night for big shows like this?

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 27/11/2023 20:38

@Taylorscat

My daughter has gone to a few concerts now on her own. They have all been using the app and she has got in no issues.

Yes you can walk to Wembley Central but I'm also not comfortable letting my DD walk there (she will be completely solo) she knows central London but not the outskirts.

She has a concert at the arena next month so I may try and see if it would be workable - I would meet her at Wembley in that case away from the main crowds. She would probably be happy to come back to end of tube line by herself but my worry would be what if it's really late and tubes shut down (cant remember if night tube is every day / every line)

She has had two concerts in the last week getting back to tube station after midnight - both with friends though. She will be nearly 17 by the time TS comes around.

Taylorscat · 27/11/2023 21:37

@Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky thanks I think I’m going to drive to Waterloo in the evening and park around there. Not desperate to hang out for hours at Waterloo station on a sat eve though so at some point I’ll see if there’s somewhere I can park where I can safely sit in the car and watch stuff on my iPad.

tubes will run to get them away from the concert, so I’m not worried about that - but they won’t make the last train that’s for sure !

I was really shocked when my daughter told me lots of her friends who already had tickets for the first shows got codes for the new shows and have bought another 4 tickets each. Was it really not possible to give more people a chance to see it just once?

JaneIves · 27/11/2023 21:53

@Taylorscat you could park in Tommys car park. The coffee shop inside Tommy's is open 24hrs or it's a nice walk and people watch along the south bank.

Speaknowfearlessreputation · 27/11/2023 22:27

Ticketmaster have told me that since I didn’t register before June the something, I can’t have a code and I can’t book anything! It’s so disappointing. I wonder if there’s a way around it? Just thinking about returned tickets.

Does anyone know? I know I asked similar before. But I have kids who have suddenly become the world’s biggest fans and consumed all media and utterly desperate to go!

JaneIves · 27/11/2023 22:31

Set up a twickets alert. It's a completely above board resale site, or just keep checking Ticketmaster for resale tickets.
I guess nearer the time you might have more luck, as people realise they can no longer go.

Mamofteenager · 28/11/2023 07:00

@walle2 what line you looking for from Cardiff? If valley lines then yes they do but it is very hit or miss and at present there are rail replacement buses as they are electrifying the lines. Should be completed by Feb but TFW are notorious for delays in projects.

It may be because 2 sets of codes. There were the album presale codes which we had and then the 'registering codes' my daughter had the album code and got tickets and did receive a waitlist code from registering for this sale ( but didn't use it) - maybe they cannot match them up....

ExpressYourElf · 28/11/2023 07:05

Twickets won’t sell Taylor tickets it’s just ticketmaster or axs. You can buy resale tickets without a code, I sold my 2 tickets last week as we were lucky enough to get another code and managed to get 2 x cheaper tickets which were much better seats as we’d got the ‘VIP’ tickets in the first round of sales which is basically cheap seats with a box load of tat.

We sold our June tickets on ticketmaster and they were gone within a minute so just keep checking especially closer to

ExpressYourElf · 28/11/2023 07:06

Sorry just to correct I was given a code in the first round and my boyfriend was given a code in the second round, the second round was people being taken off the wait list

Speaknowfearlessreputation · 28/11/2023 07:53

Thank you! I will keep checking on the site.

What’s with the £600+ tickets? Are they amazing seats or is that just because of the box of tat? I can see those available with a code in Wembley still.

KarmaisYOURboyfriend · 28/11/2023 09:09

For anyone interested - I've just listed 2 x 'Karma is my boyfriend' package tickets for Wembley on the 19th August on AXS.

Thank you that is genius I’ll do that . Safe and a coffee shop without drunk people.

@ExpressYourElf when you sell your tickets on Ticketmaster, can you specify they need to sell as a pair? I want to sell mine (VIP £600 each impulse purchase that I just can’t justify), but I don’t want to risk one selling and being left with one.

ExpressYourElf · 28/11/2023 15:08

@fishfingersandchipsagain Yeah you can only sell the total amount of tickets you have so they would sell as a pair. It was really easy and once sold money is in your account within 13 working days (if with ticketmaster, with AXS it’s after the show has happened 😳)

walle2 · 28/11/2023 15:47

@Mamofteenager I'm looking for transport for wales or great western, going to Neath or Swansea. Hoping to have more trains on cos I suspect there will be a lot of us and if it's 1 tiny train then we are fucked 😂

I’m really curious about those £600 tickets. Are they good seats? Or is just the tat they come with that has bumped the price up?

I’ve seen quite a few £600+ left for one Wembley date. (I can’t book them anyway though because I don’t have a code!)

ExpressYourElf · 28/11/2023 16:34

@Speaknowfearlessreputation my friend has the £660 seats, they’re good seats plus the merch

Mamofteenager · 28/11/2023 16:55

@walle2 I know what you mean! I am Valley line and even on Rugby international etc they put on 2 carriages so your like a sardine. I would maybe see about the GFW Carmarthen trains as they stop in Swansea? They normally have lots of carriages as coming from London Paddington.

Some of the seats are ok, some are pretty bad tbh... so it’s mostly the merch.

Thanks @ExpressYourElf Glad I’m with Ticketmaster! I guess I’ll sell them then, and maybe keep an eye out for cheaper tickets. I would LOVE to go, but can’t justify £1200 for the night.

@Speaknowfearlessreputation they are just OK mid-range regular tickets. It’s only premium pricing with the “VIP” label because the cheaper tier sells first.

bendmeoverbackwards · 28/11/2023 21:46

Very jealous of those with tickets!

Any idea how much I might have to pay for resale tickets?

They should be the same price as original sales, but you’ll have to keep checking and be super quick when they come up

walle2 · 29/11/2023 13:14

@Mamofteenager I've just managed to book a premier in hotel for the night for £147, it's a new hotel opening in May. Saves rushing for a train!!! All other hotels in area are £500+
