Who did you want to look like when you were 18?

Would be really cool to see who was your famous role model when you were 18. Post a picture if you can.

I’ll go first - I wanted to be Justine Frischmann from Elastica - her hair and her confidence!

Cindy Crawford or one of those super models who were just beautiful.
I always used to think the beautiful people had it easier and better. Maybe they do

Yes, that look was super cool in the late 90s. See also Carrie Anne Moss in The Matrix. I'd have loved to look like that but lacked the cheekbones, abs, and confidence 😀

Weirdly...I was sat at the table next to Justine's mum in a local cafe a few months ago!

Couldn't help overhearing her talking to a friend about how her Justine used to go out with the guy in that band called 'Blur' (and she had her own band too 😆) and what she is up to now etc etc.

I shaved my head at 13 but didn't have the arms and the abs.

After a couple of years of boxing training and weight lifting, at 37, I'm finally on my way to the arms and abs. But I'm now not brave enough to shave my head.
