Would be really cool to see who was your famous role model when you were 18. Post a picture if you can.

I’ll go first - I wanted to be Justine Frischmann from Elastica - her hair and her confidence!

@DreamingofNuneaton people used to genuinely confuse me for JF in the late 90s. More than once. I look nothing like her and I'm way more bosomy!

Weirdly...I was sat at the table next to Justine's mum in a local cafe a few months ago!

Couldn't help overhearing her talking to a friend about how her Justine used to go out with the guy in that band called 'Blur' (and she had her own band too 😆) and what she is up to now etc etc.

Without doubt Madonna, I remember buying her album and on the cover I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen, I so wanted to look like her.

As a teen in the 70's, Farrah Fawcett was my aspiration
I looked nothing like her although I did have the hairdo.
I still want the style, but all of the hairdressers now are too young to even remember good Ole Farrah. I've taken to try and cut my hair myself...still don't look like Farrah and now I don't even have the hairdo 😭
