BBC Presenter and yet more allegations

It would appear that the front page of tomorrow’s The Sun has further allegations about messages with a new 17 year old. Creepy hearts etc

Scrolling through Sky news and seeing front pages of the papers. This appears bottom right on The Sun front page.

The 56 MPs accused of sexual harassment went very quiet a bit way back, but then Murdoch doesn't shit in his own nest.

Are all 4 younger persons about the same presenter. I swear yesterday on bbc radio newsbeat they talked about a second younger person coming forward but seemed to suggest it was a different bbc presenter.

This is so confusing.

These people in power and with wealth think they can do what they like and are uuntouchable, it's like a sewer and they should be exposed and named, might make the rest of them think twice before doing the same

There are loads of examples of this happening, PR management, hostile states, government interference, buisness interference. Please don't say you are so naieve as to believe everything on the internet is true?

The point is that by stating, over and over again, this person has paid underage children for sexual images it's repeating something for which there is no evidence, yet the more it's repeated the more it becomes some people's fact.

I would say the majority of people on Twitter also think this is a witch-hunt that has been orchestrated by the Sun. We haven't heard from the presenter, we haven't seen any detail of anything really except that young person 1 says it's a load of rubbish, young person 2 threatened to out the guy, young person 3 made him a cup of tea and he sent an emoji to young person 4. Calling him a nonce based on that is ridiculous and defamatory.

I agree with this and they would also be very happy to see the demise of the BBC.

Had the BBC quietly investigated this back in May when it was reported, all this speculation would have been avoided.
If photos were of anyone under 18, then yes it’s a criminal offence.
Let’s not pretend that the BBC will not go to great lengths to protect their own, ditto the government, ditto police.
This has come out now because it’s convenient to someone higher up.
Jimmy Savile’s “antics” didn’t come out until after he died because he knew enough to drag more people down. I’m sure there are many other high profile celebrities with similar protection.

@Quveas the language you have used in your post ‘people jumping on the gravy train’ is exactly what was said in the early stages of the Jimmy Savile case. As for why didn’t people speak earlier, please understand that there are highly complex and entirely justifiable reasons why people who are the victims of sexual offences don’t immediately make a complaint. Quite often it takes one person to speak up in order for others to feel confident enough to do so. Victims of sexual offences feel utterly powerless compared to the perpetrator. They may have wanted to try to forget it. They may be still processing it. Would you say to a rape victim their should ‘shut up’ if it took her five years to come forward? I would hope not.
None of this is me saying an offence has occurred in this case. However everything that has been said on here is pure speculation. I doubt any of you will listen but just let things settle on social media, then hopefully The S*N will pipe down too and the police will be able to look at the situation with all the available facts.

In truth all of this information should be coming to light. Whoever this presenter has a, George Osborne, the whole disgusting lot.

They are still just saying youth or young person.

This, the people that want it hushed up are those that have more to lose. Saville got away with it by maintaining silence, he isn't the only one.

He's a presenter. Until this story broke and he was named online, all I knew was that he was a presenter.
