Wouldn't someone have noticed a Well known Presenter rocking up at someone's house in lockdown the amount of curtain twitching going on

He wouldn't have necessarily been noticed especially if he had a mask on. Also, if it's who we all think it is, even though i'd recognise him if I saw him on tv, if I walked past him in the street i probably wouldn't. He just looks like any other average man of his age.

BBC news confirmed they've seen one set of messages from one of the young people and that they came from the presenters known phone number.

why did the bbc contact a specific person - they must have been checking presenter's phone records?

it's so concerning how this (and Nicola Bulley's case) has been handled. SOMETHING has to be done to ensure this kind of thing isn't the norm - everything becoming public property before any real investigation has even begun is grim. Then, once an investigation is complete, it turns into "there's no smoke without fire" and conspiracy claims, while ignoring the actual evidence. It's all very grubby.
