If there is truth to the stories, then it is absolutely right and proper that the person involved should be appropriately sanctioned. What that might involve I cannot say, because, like everybody else here, I do not know what happened (and wouldn't trust the Sun to accurately print anything).
But I am amazed at the number of people here who are in favour of an employer taking steps to name and shame an individual against whom there have been allegations without any form of investigation taking place, any disciplinary process, or any proper outcome determined. You would all be screaming bloody murder - and quite rightly - if your employer did that to you.
This is not about a "complaint" - it is a serious allegation which impacts on someone's employment, livelihood and reputation. It would be entirely wrong of any employer to breach their duties of confidentiality and care to their employees. This person, whoever they are, has the same rights as all of you. It doesn't matter what they have allegedly done. Until that is proven to the required legal standard, this individual has rights too.
Before you hang people, it is an awfully good idea to be sure they did something. People here are still naming / hinting at individuals who have publicaly said it is not them. This has got nothing at all to do with justice. It has everything to do with mob mentality.
