I don't have twitter and haven't seen any theories as to who it is, I'm presuming a man due to the figure outline being used in the press:

I know who it is (I’m not saying so don’t ask) and no one on this thread is right. It’s not right to speculate. The name being banded on this thread and on twitter doesn’t deserve to have their name and reputation sullied on baseless rumours.

Despite having an account I've never found out how Twitter works.

I've no idea who it is, but I don't think any of the names mentioned fit what we do know.

There's nothing to say someone's been suspended. They've said they're not currently scheduled, which rules out everyone mentioned so far, I think.

This is exactly why speculative ID is a bad idea. People who previously had never suspected an individual of any wrong doing will be thinking it might be names mentioned here.

Have you seen the news recently? Sexual abuse victims are often treaded disgustingly, and going to a newspaper (if you can call it that) would mean the nonce will be dealt with and they won’t have to put their child through going to the local plod.

I suspect it's more likely that the facts became known to the media so the BBC needed to say something.

While I am very sorry for the mother of the drug addicted (adult) sex worker, I don't think that it is appropriate to name and shame the punter.

As a society we cannot on the one hand celebrate sleezy behaviour (Love Island, Naked Attraction, page 3, porn, OnlyFans, presenting sex work as a valid part time job for students etc) and then be censorious of the people who pay in to the system.

I'd shut the lot down tbh, but I know my values are at odds with society as a whole. What I don't comprehend is how all this stuff is tolerated until some arbitrary line is crossed (by a celebrity) and then everyone bays for blood.

Agreed. Although I doubt he would get very far as they would probably argue it's just an outline and others guessed differently. !😐
