What's your opinion on women who snog men on nights out?

Honest opinion.

I've not done this in a good while but am single and wondering is it still acceptable? Was it ever?

It was normal when I was growing up. But I grew up in a pretty scummy area.

I'm 42 now so say you saw a woman of that age snogging in a bar - what would you think?

I'm not sure what I would think to be honest!
Now you have mentioned it I haven't seen anyone snogging in public for years.
I would probably think 'get a room' and then move on with my night!

Oh the good old days of getting drunk and snogging 3 different blokes in a night. That was how I misspent my years at university. At 50 I now really couldn't imagine doing the same, I went out with a group of friends at 30 to the same bars we went to as teens at felt ancient, old enough to be everyone's mother. It put me off ever going out again tbh!

The same as my opinion on men snogging on a night out - not my business.

Honestly? It's a bit OTT. I don't want to see anyone 'snogging' in a bar - but I'd probably be a bit more tolerant over teenagers than someone your age.

Although thinking about it now, wasn’t it super weird how we’d just start snogging right next to our friends - couldn’t imagine having a good old make out session with my best friend stood next to me now 😅

OMG this used to be totally normal when I was young (pre ExH so over 20 years ago!) Never seen anyone doing it where I live now though and can’t even imagine it tbh.

That said, go for it if that’s what you want to do!

If I’m out at a nice restaurant and see a couple all over each other while I’m trying to enjoy my turbot I definitely judge them.

Out drinking in a bar? Meh.

Go for it! I used to do this on most nights out in my teens and twenties. So much fun! Even if I had a bad snog it was something to laugh about the next day 😂

Never, ever see public snogging now. But I am usually in bars that mostly older people go to so perhaps that's why. No idea if the youngs do it or not.

I m a woman of that age, and I ld snog in a bar or nightclub, no bother.

Oh the good old times of snogging random men in a nightclub like others, probably wouldn't want to see it whilst I was eating somewhere, but in a bar at night or a club I would hardly even notice

Rite of passage under 25- normal part of a good night out. I’d eye roll and take the piss if one of my friends did it now we’re well past 40. Unless she was getting over an arsehole- then I’d cheer her on.
