What's your opinion on women who snog men on nights out?

Honest opinion.

I've not done this in a good while but am single and wondering is it still acceptable? Was it ever?

It was normal when I was growing up. But I grew up in a pretty scummy area.

I'm 42 now so say you saw a woman of that age snogging in a bar - what would you think?

If you want a totally honest answer I think it looks really tacky but I'm obviously in the minority

I sneak in a few kisses verging on full on songs with my husband when we’re out. (Mid 50s) Does that count?

Just bear in mind that when we were out snogging boys in our youth, no one had a smart phone to film it with.

Oh this was me as a teen and looking back I'm not sure why- I definitely didn't get anything out of it, it was just what we did. So I'd like to tell teen me that she should think about whether she actually wants all these random tongues down her throat. It's fine not to.

I would have the same opinion of the women as I would of the men snogging them back. Just get a room for chrissakes, and stop sucking each other's faces in public.

I'm happily married and can't be arsed with nightclubs much anymore.

But feck ya, recording shite for SM! We did have SM when I was in school Myspace and Facebook in it's early years but we had to use an actual camera the camera on our phones were grainy and upload them to the computer the next day. I am so glad my teenage antics in all their glory are not online for all to see, there are enough cringe pics that do creep up every so often.

I suppose OP it depends. A bit of a kiss why not. But one of those recent times I was out I saw an older couple pretty much mauling each other and thought they should have a bit more cop on. It was a wine bar vibe not a night club

As a woman of similar age, I haven’t “snogged” anyone in public since I was in my 20s I think 😂 but if I was single and ready to mingle, I’m not sure I would be snogging in public but each to their own.

I wouldn't care at all. It's not something I'd do because it takes me a while to feel an attraction to someone (I'm more attracted to personality than looks) but it's absolutely none of my business what others choose to do.

Reminds me of the last time I saw full public snogging... a flight I was on a while back. We were a family of 4 in the middle aisle, kids 4&2... The couple in the pair of window seats to our right were getting steamier and steamier (sexually and drunkenly) through the flight. They were discreet(ish), clearly mad for each other, the kids didn't even notice and I was vicariously enjoying their sense of freedom.
Coming into land was a bit bumpy and my Ds threw up spectacularly as we reached touch down. In that enclosed space the odour quickly reached everyone and this poor couple's ardour was quickly replaced with green faces (they'd had LOT to drink on the flight).
Poor sods, it would have been a highly charged romantic end to their holiday were it not for my Ds. 😬😷

Snog is such a great word.

Good for them, I'd say! I might raise an eyebrow at extended snogging for ages but I'd say snogging on nights out is part of the fun when you're single and looking. There's a stairwell in the one big bar/club in my hometown where I and everyone I know had many a first (and only) kiss hahaha.

I mean im 50 this year and been married 18 years
But I had an interesting time before I met dh
It's not something I would do now but I certainly have in the dim and distant past,in fact my dh,we supposed to.be s one night stand 😂

God I miss those days of random snogging! Last done in approximately 1998 when I met DH...
I never see it happening either these days but I am probably not hanging around the right sort of places...

I imagine this person spends a lot of thier life not being able to understand why anyone does or thinks differently to themselves. Must spend most of the time in perpetual bewilderment.

No one was singling out women - the question was specifically asked what people thought of women doing it, but of course it applies to both genders.

I think it's awfully trampy for anyone to do it, but then I just don't want a stranger's tongue in my mouth.
Perhaps others enjoy it, but not for me thank you!

My first kiss was at a teeny bopper "club" and I asked my friend to take a picture on her polaroid camera which I proudly showed off to my friends the next day 🤣

Oh happy days of my youth! I blooming loved snogging when I was in 6th form. We went to a lot of parties, gigs and drinking down by the river, and did a lot of snogging.

Nowadays, I don’t even get a weekly snog with DH. It a bit sad really as I found it one of life’s great pleasures.

Snogging is all I would do when I was single haha never one for one night stands 😂😂 I tried once but started asking him when his last STI clinic checks were.. how often he had one night stands to gauge the likelihood of chlamydia and obviously which condoms he preferred haha it never happened and I walked home shortly after alone..(I do lack social skills)

It was an integral part of every night out in my teens and early 20s 😂 Can't say it appeals now even if I were single, but equally I'm not drinking pints of snakebite and black nowadays...

Smart phones changed the world in this regard 😂
