Liz Jones and her ex: Just why?

I really could not avoid her latest batshit crazy piece in the Daily Mail because excerpts are all over Twitter. Do they really get paid enough for that?

I believe very little of what she writes.

I find her oddly interesting but also sad at the same time. I know she has issues with her eating disorder but she also seems to have a lot of mental health problems that aren’t addressed and I think she is taken advantage of by some people.

I saw this, and wondered what the hell possessed either of them to do this. They both come out of it terribly. Liz seems like a naive nitwit who can’t tell the difference between Sex and the City and real
life, and he comes across as a complete knob. Is he really like that? Even if so, why would you want that published for the world to read?

Was there £££ on offer? Does Liz think that everyone sees her as bonkers now so doesn’t mind a bit of bizarre publicity.

Hey Daily Mail if you’re reading this - you are dreadful for encouraging this and printing this and it’s not in the slightest amusing.
When I said before about Liz being taken advantage of - The Mail is one of those who have done that. Just for a bit of a so called entertaining column.

Well, she’s a writer so I guess she’s got to write to earn money. And a bit like so many MNs, despite saying otherwise and apologising for links, seem to read the Daily Mail voraciously, they seem to also love to hate Liz Jones, very meta, so what ever she does it seems to work regarding the clicks. Having just read that though, whether or not anyone believes what she says (and could conceivably not have believed her take on this particular meeting), it’s all there, in his own words. What an absolute monumental prick. He seems like he hasn’t managed to move on at all and his impotent little rage at her is quite pathetic. Whatever I think of her, she did nothing to deserve having to put up with him. Probably for the best for womankind that he’s still single, shame he’s so bitter about it though.

It was always clear what kind of man he was, even in her column about him years ago. Absolutely hideous.
