Embroidery.

Separating out all those threads brought on an inner rage and despair I never knew I had.

Camping. I wouldn't go camping again if you paid me. It was hell on earth.

Tripe paella. I thought that it was just rabbit paella but it was actually rabbit and tripe. Revolting barely covers it.

Camping is holidaying in conditions that you wouldn't tolerate at home.

I was once bullied into going camping, and came home with a bladder infection.
Never again.

Pease pudding. I thought I just had a ham roll. It was a nasty surprise.

Also Campari and lemonade. Tastes like soap.

OhamIreally · 01/07/2023 19:29

Lamprey OMG so horrible 😤

A music festival. Too many people being too irritating and someone trod on my head. Never again.

What! Where was your head?

Cocaine, what a lot of fucking fuss over nothing. Perhaps I was doing it wrong but felt barely anything, maybe slightly more awake Confused

Wherewhatnow · 01/07/2023 19:33

Aloe Vera Juice
Nightclubs
Femidoms

eddiemairswife · 01/07/2023 19:33

Tripe.

Andouillette. Oh dear.

Another vote for this delicacy.

I enjoy organ meats and will generally eat anything that's put in front of me, so was confident I would appreciate it. I was very, very wrong.

I tried Quaker instant oats in chocolate orange flavour recently. I managed two mouthfuls. Disgusting.

Seconded…so disappointing!

MissAmbrosia · 01/07/2023 19:33

Absinthe - went in and came straight back out again.

Jellied eels - even the thought makes me shudder now. Fishy jelly and bone.
Oblivion at Alton Towers. I thought I was going to die.

drspouse · 01/07/2023 19:34

Tripe.
Those wobbly tree top walks. I want to be brave but... Ditto going over the top of Blackpool Tower.
Stout. Cheesecake.
Some of the others are X rated.

Tofu and mother & baby yoga class. Awful.

Together?

Ziplining

Me too. Everyone thought it was because I’m afraid of heights, it wasn’t that, I just hated every second for an en explicable reason.

drspouse · 01/07/2023 19:41

See, I like ziplining and would happily do that bit without the wobbly rope bridges.

Our LEA's "Break Time". Three children, colouring books and one football, supposed to keep DS aged 11 occupied for 2 hours. He'd been promised Nerf guns which he isn't allowed at home and which were in the pictures! Thankfully DH had taken him and could watch him hide under a chair.

Tessabelle74 · 01/07/2023 19:41

Oysters, never again!
Children, lovely when young, disgusting as teens, I don't recommend!

Fwendi · 01/07/2023 19:44

I had to Google bukkake. Think I'll give it a miss thanks :).

Cows udder 🤢

I'm aware there are many types but I don't have the urge to try whiskey again. Or wine.

Kindofcrunchy · 01/07/2023 19:52

Posters saying vegan cheese - so you've tried every vegan cheese in the world, have you?

No? Then let's specify brands/types because they're not all the fucking same. Thanks 😊

pinkpirlie · 01/07/2023 19:52

Costa coffee - it is the most vile coffee. No idea why it is so popular.
Even in an ice mocha it is undrinkable.

OnePotPolly · 01/07/2023 19:53

Hershey's chocolate. It was particularly horrifying because I threw it confidently into my mouth secure in the knowledge that I had never met a chocolate I didn't like...and then I got a mouthful of vomit that literally made me heave

Once in the US with an American work colleague, she gave me Hershey's and it tasted foul. Of course I didn't say so. She asked if I'd eat it if it was sold in the UK. I could only stumble over my words and mutter"
.."Ummm. . . not for pleasure"

I think it is sold in the UK now.

Kindofcrunchy · 01/07/2023 19:54

Also, willing to put money on not a single one of you knowing how to prepare tofu properly.

It does taste like a punishment, I agree.
