Sea urchins

Similar to @TheYearOfSmallThings but with Gruyère. I'm normally a huge cheese fan. Had to taste it so I was able to describe the taste before offering free samples to customers in the middle of Sainsbury's back in my uni days. Had to really work at keeping the look of disgust off my face so I could convincingly try to sell the stuff 😂

I love so many of the foods reviled by others, but I was brought up to eat what was on my plate or go hungry - hearts, sweetbreads, etc.
Fussy eating was not an option, as my DC soon learnt.

The worst meal I ever cooked was a Weight Watchers' favourite - Diet Coke Chicken.
The whole family thought it was vile, & it all went in the bin.

Anything wafer.

Especially pink panther wafers. Disgusting

My Dad 'tricked' me into eating that as a child 🤢 Having tasted it again as an adult I would probably have loved it unstintingly had I come to it with a more mature palate - but it's been forever tainted by the past.

A music festival. Too many people being too irritating and someone trod on my head. Never again.

I tried to empty my dogs anal glands rather than taking her to the vet. I was successful in that they were emptied, not successful in my technique and the mess it made.
