You have £100k to spend to make your life happier

Not allowed to spend it on anything sensible like paying off mortgage, debts, investing, school fees etc.

It must be spent on indulgent treats/experiences/holidays or anything else you fancy.

What would you choose?

someone to come in and declutter my house for me.

I'd buy a campervan. And, oh yes, driving lessons too. Grin Also the best sleeping bag money could buy and some marshmallows for the campfire.

Abcdefgh1234 · 28/06/2023 23:26

plastic surgery
designer bag
designer clothing
lavish holiday

Ariela · 28/06/2023 23:31

I would spend most of it doing good deeds, secret millionaire style. Like paying for people's shopping or arranging a treat for someone that can't afford it.

In fact I inherited some ££ a few years back, after paying the credit card bill I spent a lot of it doing this, some I donated to charities of my choice, secretly improved the lives of others (one was a lady worrying how to pay her solicitors as her ex had stirred up issues again and she needed to firmly send a solicitors letter). Etc

It's better to give than receive.

A loft conversion and other house stuff or is that too sensible?
Holidays, not ridiculous ones but very good ones for as many years as possible. Some nice jewellery. Theatre trips, days out , weekends away, things to look to.

TisforTucan · 28/06/2023 23:46

New kitchen, new bathroom, holiday to Disneyland and plastic surgery if I can squeeze it in 🤣

3luckystars · 28/06/2023 23:47

new car
disneyland
cleaner

HarrietSchulenberg · 28/06/2023 23:51

Half of it on a second hand campervan and the other half on buggering off in it.

Alsobeyondshit · 28/06/2023 23:51

More IVF probably

Brokendaughter · 28/06/2023 23:51

I'd go to all the big cons I've always wanted to do but in style, staying in a fancy hotel with some quirky features & getting chauffer driven there (I don't drive, so car hire is not an option for me).

Ohyoudodoyou · 28/06/2023 23:55

Lower face lift
Personal trainer
Trip on the new orient express
Camper van

Pugdogmom · 28/06/2023 23:59

Doing my house up.
A cruise to South America and a trip to the Far East.
A campervan

SH23B · 28/06/2023 23:59

A bigger house would make us all a lot happier. Failing that, regular holidays and a cleaner. A static caravan. A whole new wardrobe.

Kay286 · 29/06/2023 00:03

A chef to come and cook for my every night - I hate cooking !
new car - nothing crazy an suv
holiday to Maldives
a interior designer to come and style my house like a show home !

GreenMini · 29/06/2023 00:03

I'd like new sash windows to replace horrible UPVC, and to get the front of the house painted. I'd also like to spend 10k on halls accom for my daughter near her uni so she doesn't have to commute. Also a new bathroom and a two week holiday while it's being done. Not sure what else, cars for my kids probably.

Everybodywants · 29/06/2023 00:04

I'd have laser hair removal on my whole body and face peels to get rid of deep scarring.

I'd have really frequent massages and therapy.

I'd go on lots of holidays and trips to the theatre and cinema and take my friends with me.

I'd get my hair done really nicely and go every 12 weeks.

I'd invest some of it to try and grow it.

LivesOnPigeonStreet · 29/06/2023 00:05

Holidays and all the activities we all wanted.

KateJohns · 29/06/2023 00:10

Narrow Boat for holidays and general buggering off.

bonfirebash · 29/06/2023 00:15

New kitchen (units, worktop, sink but keep oven and hob to minimise waste/costs) and floor
New bathrooms and flooring/tiles
Have my spare room changed so fully fitted wardrobes and wall to wall storage (it's also my gym so messy!)
New car

I would trade my car in which would give me an extra maybe 6k to use Grin

Whatever was left I would spend on sports massages, loads of nice food, and Olverum bath oil

Zarataralara · 29/06/2023 00:22

A static caravan looking onto the sea.

Cheezecake · 29/06/2023 00:59

Flying first class to see my sister in NZ

Schlomp · 29/06/2023 01:03

A newish car with working air con and arm rest, and then a new wardrobe of clothes and make up, skincare etc. Ive prioritised everyone else for decades and its time to do something for myself again
