Just a thread for fun. I have been reading the funeral ones in classics and it reminded me of my late mother. We bought a beautiful cottage in a posh village and I returned home from a holiday to find gnomes in my flower beds.
I got my own back by burying her in a sparkly Bet Lynch top (I had asked her what she wanted to wear at her demise she said 'suprise me, but I'll be dead'.My mother enjoyed black humour as her best friend was a Vicar and she had been a police officer. I still hate gnomes and spotted them in our new village this week. AIBU?

I absolutely hate symmetrical lamps, especially perched on a console table with a flower arrangement. The only place lamps should match is either side of a bed.

I wish that people would put socks on their babies and toddlers. I don't want to see anyone's feet and it grosses me out.

And yes I know that some are hell bent on removing them which is true but you rarely see it in Winter so it's not the only reason.

Fake grass. Such a massive F you to nature. Unless you have a disability and can't maintain a lawn I think it sums up the kind of shallow 'keeping up with the Jones' type who does everything for show and is very judgmental of others.

@Ketzele I worked for a company that used images of toe nail extensions on their social media. Yuck.

@FortheBeautyoftheEarth gravel and raised beds looks better if you can't maintain a lawn. I lost count of the number of times the estate agents told me plastic grass was low maintaince. I'm semi retired, I need work to do. I also don't want my dog peeing on AstroTurf.
