This week.

We have chicken ramen tonight using leftover roast chicken from Sunday.

After that I am out of ideas. And need to meal plan as have some big expenses coming up and can't afford to push the fuck it button and order in Dominoes. :)

TIA

Tik tok feta cheese pasta for this evening.

Equatorcreator · 26/06/2023 15:57

Spag bol for us tonight 🍝🤗

Neverinamonthofsundays · 26/06/2023 16:32

I changed my mind. Adults and one kid are having beef burgers and the younger two are having chicken burgers all with chips and salad.

MaidOfSteel · 26/06/2023 16:41

We've got a homemade quiche in the oven right now. Ham from one of those packs of trimmings, spring onions, teeny sweet peppers, red bell peppers, garlic, splash of hot sauce, a little mustard powder, chopped fresh coriander & chives from the garden. We'll cut some salad leaves & herbs to serve it with later, maybe a bit of garlic pickle, too.

Pan fried salmon and rice and veggies tonight. I've had a crown fitted on my back tooth today and dentist has told me to go gentle with it for the first few days so am having something that won't need much chewing! Got a choccy dessert for pudding as I was 'brave' (DH's words not mine!)

Dontknowwhattopick · 26/06/2023 18:52

It was chicken pasta bake tonight, served with roasted jersey potatoes and peas.
Tomorrow is bbq Nando’s style chicken with salad, coleslaw and homemade flatbread, I will probably use the last of the jerseys to make a potato salad as well

Tagliatelle bolognese and garlic bread.

Gorgeous!

Iloveburgerswaymorethanishould · 27/06/2023 17:34

Slow cooked pork belly, mustard mash, cabbage, carrots/swede and apple gravy. With a raspberry cream sponge (and more cream) for after!!

Equatorcreator · 28/06/2023 08:50

It's a lot cooler here today,so I might do something like homemade burgers with lots of salad and fried onions.

ODFOx · 28/06/2023 10:36

We're at the in-laws tonight but last night DH made sea bass with Cajun crumb coating ( from a Hello fresh recipe) served with roasted vegetables. Delicious!

Tomorrow the leftover roast veg from last night will be turned into a pasta bake.

On Friday I'm making a vegetable thali as we have lots of veg to eat up. (I hadn't planned for being out tonight).

Equatorcreator · 29/06/2023 08:56

We are having salmon with a creamy dill sauce today served with green beans and dauphinois potatoes, looking forward to it 😋

@RiseYpres themes is a feckin brilliant idea.

Thanks!! It is working brilliantly well actually. I have changed from what i assumed I would plan but still worked within the theme idea. So last night was soup and I just went for chicken noodle as we all love it. Today is burger or hotdogs and i was going to have chilli dogs but instead we are having chicken burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickle and mayo.

I am also adding in an 'International' night. So we had 'french' this week and I made chicken dijonnais with potato dauphinoise and salad.

We had breakfast for tea here tonight.Fried breakfasts washed down with some lager and bread and butter nom nom nom 😋

RiseYpres · 01/07/2023 20:52

I really love breakfast for dinner.

It's easy and no stress and delicious. And I usually cannopt cope with a decent breakfast at breakfast time.

Plus you can do the full gamut- fry up; beans on toast' eggs benedict; pancakes.
