What are you ‘I’m old’ references that younger folk might not understand ?
I’ll start: ‘too orangey for crows, it’s just for me and my dog’

Yes! "Ummmmmm, I'm telling on you" was a thing at my school too. Don't think any of my DC ever said it.

A man's occupation is to stick his cockulation up a woman's ventilation to increase the population of the younger generation.

If you want a demonstration, lie down upon the floor.

I also remember when the Pope visited in about 1982. I was in a Catholic school so we got to watch that on TV too.

I've still got a picture of me and my classmates at the Mall, waiting for him to go past in the popemobile. Our nuns made it into a whole school day trip.

Bizarre adverts like ones for Trill, budgie food.

And my absolute fave tv programmes. Banana Splits. One banana, two bananas, three bananas, four. It was repeated in the mid 90s at 6.30am. I used to watch it as I had breakfast before taking the dog for a walk.

Then there was the Japanese cult classic Monkey.

You knew it was Xmas when this bad boy came out

Brings the excitement of Christmas all back, that does. I still love the tinsel and baubles and shiny stuff. Though I’m not convinced all Blue Peter’s craft projects really worked.

And that reminds me…sticky back plastic!
