I loved how we used to live too.
We also watched Sons and Daughters, The Sullivans, The Waltons, The Beverly Hillbillies and Grizzly Adams.
We watched a lot of TV. Funny really because I hardly watch it at all now.

Was your house VHS or Betamax?!

Ah, remember the massive trolley tv!

And watching ‘Bod’ and ‘Crow & Alice’ in infants.

Ours was both! We had a Betamax first and taped loads of stuff off the TV then when it packed in they bought a VHS so we could buy proper videos for sale in the actual shops but we couldn't watch all the stuff we'd taped so we had to scour the small ads for another Betamax about every 5 years well into the early 2000s.

Did you watch Look and Read at school? It had that weird floating robot thing and 'magic E'.
My favourite part was the little series that they would show. Fond memories of Badger Girl, Geordie Racer and Dark Tower.

Do you remember watching a programme in school about how shoes evolved from fur wraps with cavemen to a shoe factory that invented blockaboots. It had a song at the end. It was all acted by kid's I remember the girls face when she was a cavewoman, it was funny.
