I was trying to think of the words of this myself before I saw your post! I remember they were all sat in the back of a van on the way home from work. "we hope it's chips it's chips!"

I loved a spira bar and they were only 20p. Topics are now a thing of the past too. infact all chocolate bars are not the same as they were.

I once wrote to the makers of Country Life butter that the "buttermen" waved a Union Flag to the line "It's Country Life, it's English too", pointing out that the Union Flag was not the English flag, I never got a reply.

Nowadays I think I'd find the line "If you haven't any in have a word with the wife" a bit more problematic.
