Will This Morning be axed ?? What will be her next step -will she be let brave it out on her return date scheduled for the 5th June by ITV ??
Will She stay put / be ousted / dropped by advertisers?
Bad bad publicity being part of a toxic atmosphere- Will/can Dan save her "career"?? im intrigued . why cant they let new talent come in??
Alison H must be worried too.what if TM faces the axe ??

Hollys has zero journalistic background to speak of just a pretty face ( Sorry )
Packaged herself as a double act with Phil. The P and H show.
The fakery / the silly drunken staged antics after award cermonies
Taking the viewers for stupid morons who actually could see through their fake laughs etc etc.
Not as popular as She thought.

I do feel sorry for her as She basically backed the wrong person with her whole career. and now her back peddling is not a good look. she didnt have a questionable affair with a much younger colleague who she met at age 15 and who She was a powerful figure over but by her association is her career dead in the water ???/ salvagable

You think she's just a pretty face, she's fake, takes viewers as morons blah blah but you feel sorry for her? Ffs.

She's been co-presenting This Morning since 2009 so how do you come to the conclusion that she has no journalism experience?

You may not think much of what she does, but it's pretty offensive to say that she's just a pretty face.

I don't think I've ever actually watched This Morning or if I have it was when I was a kid, but it's been running since the 80s and is apparently very popular so it's dismissive to suggest that co-hosting it for the last 13 years is a negotiable achievement.

I thought this earlier today. I don't think we will see her on This Morning again. I don't think she is finished in TV, but she needs to lay low awhile - maybe for the rest of this year. And emerge fresh in early 2024 on something new.

She's a good presenter and quite likeable (when she's not squeaking!) So I doubt she is finished. Distancing herself from Schofield is essential right now, otherwise she may be finished, sadly.

I think it will be cancelled too. Something else will be needed to fill the 2 to 2.5 hours though. A new fresh rebrand (but similar obviously) hopefully with Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson and a bit of Rylan, Dermot, Craig Doyle, and Dr Amin Khan of course. (Love him!) Grin

Whenever I've watched it it's been dire recently. The fashion segments are awful, the calls ins are just as bad.

I remember Richard and Judy and Fern and John Leslie. They got rid of John Leslie pretty damn quickly Why did they let PS get away with it for so long?

I think if H goes, then all the bosses at itv should also - it would be unfair for her to carry the can when she is no more or less knowledgeable/tolerant about PS behaviour than they are. So for me, it's all or nothing.
Her problem is that they marketed themselves as best friends.

I have to admit, TM has been shit for several years now. Boring drivel, and assuming all women only want to see fashion and food/cookery articles and stuff about the menopause, periods, and womens health. Why do they assume we don't want to see articles about physics, astronomy, football, car mechanics, fast high-performance cars, and science etc?

So sexist and presumptuous. I hate cooking, I have fuck-all interest in fashion (and definitely no interest in wearing the crap they peddle on there,) and I can look up womens health on the internet ta. Give me some entertainment.

The only alternative to this shite is Jeremy Vine. I loathe the man. I also really dislike the guests he has on. They are either too far left, or too far right. Storm is OK, but most of the others can do one.

But yeah, TM is shite. I was just puzzled as to how that poster @MayBeeJuneSoon could possibly know this when she has (allegedly) never watched it? Confused

Jeremy Vine is the king of having no opinions - that's quite the feat when you are a talk show host.

I've not been watching daytime tv recently - used to have it on in the background while I was doing other things and it's only since I've stopped doing it, that I realise how soul sucking it is. It really is the most vacuous shite (for the most part).
I seem to get more done without it on too.

LOL at Alison Hammond being worried for her career. Would that mean she'd only be on one in three programmes rather than every other one? (I rather like her actually, but she is bloody ubiquitous).
