I do feel sorry for her as She basically backed the wrong person with her whole career. and now her back peddling is not a good look. she didnt have a questionable affair with a much younger colleague who she met at age 15 and who She was a powerful figure over but by her association is her career dead in the water ???/ salvagable

Don't worry too much about her - she is currently sunning herself at her £8million pad in the Algarve. She will more than survive, she's made a lot of money even if she never works again.

I'd like the show to end. Not really thought about what work Holly Willoughby would do next if that happens.

In fact, although she’s good at the fluffy bits, if they ever get a politician or the like on, she’s very out of her depth. Phillip always propped her up in this regard.

You can say she is a boring bimbo, and wet, and simpering by all means (still not true but your opinion!) To say she is a pudding-faced, ordinary piece of nothing - who is nothing special, unremarkable, cabbage patch face, not great looking etc... is laughable and also remarkably spiteful. Does your husband fancy her or something? Or has he had an affair with a woman who looks like her?

As for the 'natural blonde women are better' comment (from @Summerfun2023 ) Only TWO PER CENT of the world's population is actually natural blonde, so that is a daft comment. The vast VAST majority of blondes you see are bottle blonde!

I think all reality tv is utter shite. Love island/gogglebox/im a celebrity… all absolute shite and I wonder why people would want to watch it. But they do, so let them crack on. I just don’t watch it, and I have no view on whoever it is that presents it.

I suppose I do have more of an issue with love island because of the attitude it portrays, but it’s still all shite so I still don’t watch it.

If I was wanting a tv show I didn’t like to end it would be because it e.g. promoted illegal or immoral activity or in the case of love island it perpetuates this idea that only beautiful people are worthwhile.

But anything else is just tv I don’t watch. TM is just cheap daytime tv. I don’t watch it, and I don’t care what happens to it.

Of course she’s pretty. Just because you don’t like her (I’m not fussed as I don’t watch TM) but is silly to say she isn’t pretty. There are celebrities I don’t care for but I can acknowledge they’re pretty, beautiful, good looking or handsome.

Well, I think she is pretty and has an air of feel good about her on and off screen with probably doesn't fit into these bleak, pessimistic times.
It hasn't unfolded overnight. She has known for at least as long as her feud with PS is documented (maybe longer). She will have prepared herself for weeks (months?)
She is like the ex-best friend of the school bully who didn't actually do any of the bullying but stood by the bully and nurtured further bullying.
As a neighbour, I am told she is highly self-absorbed and not very self-aware. She is like Billie Faiers in many ways - 'here are my pinterest saves and I won't let anyone get in the way of achieving every tiny minor detail even if it disadvantages others'
However, she honestly cannot be blamed for these types of crimes as an accomplice.

Well it's all subjective isn't it? Some (brunette - or mousy haired) women look better blonde, some look better when they stay brunette/mousy... Holly looks nice both. Shakira for example (IMO) looks much better blonde than her natural colour (dark brown.) Ditto Debbie Harry. Looks nice brunette, much more stunning blonde. Same with Marilyn Monroe, pretty brunette, stunning blonde. Many MANY brunettes are gorgeous, stunning women, but quite a few I have seen who have gone blonde look more striking/stunning as a blonde. JMHO.

Some don't look better. IMO Angelina Jolie looks better brunette. Didn't suit her blonde at all. Same with Rihanna. Looks better with her natural (dark haired) colour. And Selena Gomez, and Emelia Clarke, and also Miley Cyrus. ALL look better brunette. (All JMO of course...)

She definitely looks better as a dirtier blonde. I am not a fan of the really bright yellow all over. It doesn’t suit anyone.

@MayThe4th oh yes, gogglebox, celebrity in the jungle - what a load of rubbish as Catherine Tate’s “Nan” would say. All this TV morning presentation pretty vacuous too. I was taken in by Love Island for one series though 🙈 but when I watched one episode of the next series I had to switch it off, it even felt stomach-churning. Breakfast TV is so asinine you’d have have had a personality lobotomy to present it in the vacuous never-cause-offence way it demands now - or have an alter ego you firmly park at home.

I watched a Sky documentary on Rita Hayworth yesterday. She tried being blonde but was much more beautiful as a brunette. Bottle blonde works for some (Debbie Harry?) but others not at all. Stingypeasants comment a bit cruel but I’d did laugh a bit too. £8 million pad in the Algarve, gawd and bennett … anyway hopefully the whole thing will just go away now.

I honestly think there are people here who would think that if she or PS killed themselves it would just be a cowardly act to escape criticism.

Someone on another thread said the other day that PS is too much of a narcissist to kill himself. I mean there’s a disapproval and then there’s a witch hunt which is what this has become.

And let’s not pretend that Eamon Homes is being all noble and only just feels he can speak out. This is a perfect opportunity for him to try to revive his failing career.

@MayThe4th you’re right. I did feel a bit guilty after posting. Actually HW is perfectly nice looking with a bright kind of face. It wasn’t the best photo (too much waxy botox?) but god knows I’ve got some unflattering pictures of me floating about.

Moreover, HW and PS may be daytime TV middle of the road and not everyone’s cup of tea but then those people who feel like that (me) don’t watch them. Even Fern Britten who I liked - I would not be interested enough to watch in the daytime TV format. I am sure HW is a pleasant enough person in real life, much like anyone else. Same for PS too.

The witch hunts against public and social media figures are nearly always pretty disturbing and I try to avoid, people often seem to be baying for blood for even fairly minor transgressions. Eg. Caroline flack hitting her boyfriend with a lamp was obviously not her finest hour but I am sure many of us have done things we’re not proud of and would find it hard for it to be in in the public domain and be judged so harshly. In some weird way it seems to me society has become increasingly intolerant whilst proclaiming its increased enlightenment.
