Will This Morning be axed ?? What will be her next step -will she be let brave it out on her return date scheduled for the 5th June by ITV ??
Will She stay put / be ousted / dropped by advertisers?
Bad bad publicity being part of a toxic atmosphere- Will/can Dan save her "career"?? im intrigued . why cant they let new talent come in??
Alison H must be worried too.what if TM faces the axe ??

Packaged herself as a double act with Phil. The P and H show.
The fakery / the silly drunken staged antics after award cermonies
Taking the viewers for stupid morons who actually could see through their fake laughs etc etc.
Not as popular as She thought.

I do feel sorry for her as She basically backed the wrong person with her whole career. and now her back peddling is not a good look. she didnt have a questionable affair with a much younger colleague who she met at age 15 and who She was a powerful figure over but by her association is her career dead in the water ???/ salvagable

She is bland and she sniggers. Furthermore , she is tainted by association. I don’t watch any morning tv - believing it to be moronic pap - but I am aware of it by reputation.

When presenters become the story, it is certainly time for a complete overhaul. New, properly professional presenters are needed.

Persoanally, I dislike the idea of a specific male and female presenter ALWAYS being paired together. Wy don't they mix them up?
Then there would not be a case of just one female - in this case HW - being associated too closely with just one male (or vice versa).

I don’t like this at all, she is respected in her own right, she doesn’t owe her fame to bloody Schofield. What a misogynistic thing to say

Dan Baldwin was probably a bigger reason than PS. She is pretty and vibrant but her career was not going anywhere until she got together with Baldwin. I don't think she deserves the same vitriol as PS but she is probably going to suffer to some extent.

Yes she does. It’s always Phil and Holly, and it’s widely publicised that he pushed for her to be the new This Morning presenter. She wouldn’t have had half the success without gluing herself to his side. She’s absolutely nothing on her own.

I liked her in IAC too, which surprised me a lot as she is irritating AF on TM.

It's a plague on everyone's house at TM; I'd be getting the hell out if I were Holly. She may have known, she may not, but the PS thing isn't anywhere near over yet so the only real choice is to get out of the shit storm.

She does not have a makeup range. That's a makeup edit for a company. That means she goes through their regular products and puts together a set. It's not her makeup.

Don't even think she's pretty. She's a pudding face. Very ordinary looking woman who giggled and jiggles her way through. It's cringeworthy

She's not a real blonde I think women look more attractive when they look natural. That's only my opinion.

@MayThe4th I'm not being promoted as a spectacular looking woman though am I. She is incredibly unremarkable and many people feel the same. She's not great at interviewing. She is simpering and wet and isn't even great looking.

I really miss the days when Richard and Judy were presenters. They both had loads of journalistic experience and Judy has an English degree. These days it’s just innocuous and talentless presenting with the presenters just amusing themselves . Serious interviewing and comment has gone out of the window. I stopped watching a long time ago:

Agree with TM needing to take a break and have a rebrand. They need to re think the whole show and what is wanted by the viewers. It’s been really dumbed down during the P&H years.

Time for Holly to move on - oh and of course she knew what was going on and so did her husband.

Some unnecessarily catty comments on here. I’m amazed people have such strong opinions about This Morning and its presenters. Hasn’t it always been light-hearted fluff? Time-killing nonsense for people who happen to be at home in the week? I loved watching it at uni, twenty years ago, and often put it on if I’m sick, or working from home.

Yes, it is often inane. It can also be funny, moving and even thought-provoking (gasp). If I feel my brain is rotting, I turn it off. It’s not Newsnight… the presenters just need to be smiley, engaging, able to read their cues, look at the right cameras, and show interest in their subjects. I think Holly does a good job. She conveys a sunny disposition - and if it’s fake, who cares? A TV presenter has to be fake - they have to grin and be pleasant even if they’ve got raging PMT, or think their co-presenter is a tosspot.

I agree with whoever said it shouldn’t have to be a default of one male presenter, one female. That does feel outdated and sometimes cringey (I’m thinking of that recent Alan Partridge thing where he had the much more able, intelligent, young, pretty, female co-presenter). Why can’t they have a large cohort of presenters and rotate them and mix it up?

I think she's a decent presenter and maybe she'd do much better out of PS shadow. She's between a rock and a hard place now - their whole brand was built on them being 'besties', and so it's hard for her to extricate herself - besties tend to know the ugly truth about each other.
I've said before that I don't think it would be right if she is forced out and the itv bosses get to stay.
But if they are all denying knowledge, they must be pretty sure there's no damning texts or emails which catch them out.
