There are other sleazebags out there in the industry who will admire her loyalty and see it as a positive thing that she chose to turn a blind eye (which I believe is how HW and Dan Baldwin played it).

So now that ITV have ordered a review and Philip has gone people aren’t content with that and need to start on Holly.

I genuinely think that there are people who won’t be happy until someone kills themselves over this.

And meanwhile the bloke who PS had the affair with is being discussed across the length and breadth of the country whether he wanted to be or not. I bet the tabloids have been camped on his doorstep for weeks now and journalists will be salivating every time he opens his front door.

As to whether she knew about the affair, so what if she did? If she was culpable in him grooming a child that would be one thing, if not and all she knew about was the affair then meh. It wasn’t palatable but the actual affair wasn’t illegal, and people have affairs all the time. The media is rife with it, In fact you’d be hard pressed to find someone in the media who hasn’t had an affair.

No, I don’t think it’s ok that he had an affair with such a young man, no, I wouldn’t approve of it, but something being immoral doesn’t make it illegal or anyone else responsible for it. The issue here is the grooming. That needs investigating by proper channels.

This Morning will struggle to get guests especially if HW remains on the sofa - there has been so much bad press that people will not want to be associated with the programme - plenty of other morning programmes who will help you sell your book/film.

I don't think HW career should be over there are other projects she can do. I think returning back could be difficult it's how she plays it and what she says next. She has been quiet and sent one tweet on the matter. It's all about trust and whether people can separate the two of them. By the sounds of it PS got his way a lot of the time. The papers are showing a clip of when he gave the young lad some whisky on telly. They all knew and they let him get away with it.

HW could well play her usual ditzy card and say that she missed the warning signhs because she was gullible and trusting. Her difficulty is that her non-gullible spouse also worked on the show and it is unlikely that he missed it too and that they never compared notes over years and years.

MMc was someone from his personal life whom he brought into his professional environment and she would have found it awkward to whistleblow on a (sort of) nepo kid whom she only met via PS. and whom he seemed to be looking out for

However, she is a completely self-absorbed person as seen in how she treated her neighbours during her never-ending building works. It is not a crime to be self-absorbed, obviously, but when one is that self-absorbed then they could miss the obvious. grooming/inappropriate relationship.

@Adifferentheadspace - why spiteful? and no I am not jealous of HW. Think it is pretty obvious that in the world of 'celebrity' where 'brand' is everything that it will be more difficult for This Morning to attract guests with all the bad press surrounding TM and HW.

She's not a talented or especially charismatic presenter. Both her and Phil constantly talking over guests. It's supposed to be lighthearted entertainment but some of their interactions with guests are so cringey as they both interrupt and challenge at the same time.

Im sure she has other talents/hobbies but also, none of us know what they are. So, it's fair enough that people question what she'd do.

I'll get called a hater now for not having a glowing opinion. She's pretty and stylish, she's not to blame for PS and she may not have known. Also not a stand-out presenter.

She is never a stand out presenter but she has played the game well. There were always better presenters like Sara Cox who were not willing to do go that far.

She will be negotiating an exit fee as we speak. She’s in a powerful position. She wants to stay. ITV will want rid of her. If they get rid of her it implies that she (and in turn them) knew more than they claim. If ITV keep her then Monday will be a circus.

I hope she steps down over the weekend, just for her own reputation. But she has ITV by the balls right now. It wouldn’t surprise me if TM was rebranded on Monday as the HW Show lol 😂
