About 2 days ago I discovered that Skegness isn’t in Scotland 😳 How did I never know this before? Embarrassingly, I’m 38 😂

That capers aren't fish, but actually unopened flower buds from the caper bush. I always seem to get them and anchovies mixed up. Salty little buggers.

Heres a picture of proboscis monkey in Brunei which apparently the larger the nose the more attractive to females and their also supposed to waggle their willies at each other 🤷🏻‍♀️learn something new everyday.

I was today years old when I found out about Brunei 😮 I’ve obviously been mixing it up with Bahrain.

I do know now that Billericay is in Essex (thanks, Gavin and Stacey 😄) but for years I thought it was in Scotland - it’s the “-reeky” sound at the end, made me think of “Auld Reekie” (Edinburgh).

Not this is embarrassing considering I have worked with all species of animal I only just found out male kangaroos and wallabys don't have a pouch lol I thought that both sexs did but ofs only the female has joeys

Last year I discovered liquorice is a plant.

No idea what I thought it was... just a type of sweet really, from a factory.

It's called Dunkerque in French. It's not a French word, it's Flemish. It's very close to the border with Belgium and has historically changed hands several times between the French, Dutch, Spanish (who ruled the southern Netherlands, now mostly Belgium), and even English (briefly). It means 'dune church'.

Hold on a minute... I'm 52, and a huge music lover and concert goer and I just had to google this. I honestly was so happy to drive through Woodstock in Oxford a few years ago and make the music connection and now you've just ruined that for me!
