Sunrise on planet Eroda done, it was amazing, I've never been to the village before and there was only me about since it was 4am.

giggly · 26/05/2023 08:02

I don’t think there is a cut off to get in. Wet leg should be on about 7.30/ 8.
We went to Ibrox last year and as an old punk Inhad a great time with dd. I haven’t decided if I should drive and park and ride the tram or train it back to Glasgow. Either way we will leave after sign of the times, third last song rather than get caught up with 60000 people heading for the trains.
My sparkles and boas are at the ready

We live 5 miles from where Harry was born in Cheshire.
Dil took granddaughter and 2 of her friends to Coventry on Tuesday.
The outfits the 4 wore were absolutely fantastic.
They have just got their voices back.

Northernsoullover · 26/05/2023 08:43

I'm going to see him twice but I work in a stadium. I'm blessed to be on a pitch side team so will get quite close. My partner is very jealous as we are both huge fans. We are in our 50s.

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 27/05/2023 00:28

He was absolutely bloody brilliant tonight.

Will be seeing him in Cardiff in 3 weeks with Dd17,she's very excited,I wasn't but this thread has drummed up a bit of excitement now 😁

Summer2424 · 27/05/2023 01:36

Hi @Youarenotseriouspeople omg i'm well jel!!! Would love to see him in concert!!

Plump82 · 27/05/2023 07:28

Oh I'm excited now!! I'm seeing him tonight. Probably the worst seats in the place but I don't care!

What's the situation for drinks inside the stadium? We won't be drinking much as can't be bothered with the queues (and don't want to miss anything needing to go to toilet!) But would a couple to take to our seats before he's on.

Assuming that the tour follows the same sort of procedure everywhere, at Coventry there was a large bar in our area and it was easy to get drinks to take to our seats. And bizarrely, the loos they were quite empty considering there were around 40,000 females there. I guess no one wanted to take their eyes off Harry for a minute, what a wasted minute that would be 😂

CornishGem1975 · 27/05/2023 08:33

We got a drink before at Coventry and there were no queues but we got there after Wet Leg as I can't stand them, and during we went to the bar on the pitch so didn't miss anything bur there were no queues there either.

Plump82 · 27/05/2023 08:37

Excellent hopefully it's the same in Murrayfield. We saw Take That years ago at Hampden and they had people walking about with these huge backpack things where they poured drinks from. If was fab as you didn't really need to move! I've never seen anything like it since but it was such a good idea.

We'll be there too. I can't wait 🎉

CornishGem1975 · 27/05/2023 09:12

Oh actually @Plump82 I did see someone with cocktails on their back! (Assuming that was a legit service ConfusedGrin)

EddieHoweisMYmanager · 27/05/2023 09:30

It was absolutely fine to take drinks through, queues weren’t too horrendous for either those or merch, we didn’t bother with Wet Leg - snore.

Youarenotseriouspeople · 27/05/2023 10:52

@EddieHoweisMYmanager oh my days 😍😍
He looks amazing!! So glad you had a brilliant time. Agree with everyone re Wet Leg we saw them but yea meh.....
Re drinks and loos, no massive queues at coventry- the biggest queue we saw was for the merch

I love Wet Leg and the thing that sullied seeing Harry for me, was nobody around me even clapped when they were on.

I've seen all kinds of support acts that I don't like but will always clap!

Harry bloody loved Wet Leg, he would have hated the po face women I was surrounded by during their set 😂

Youarenotseriouspeople · 27/05/2023 11:18

@otherwayup oh I wasn't impolite and i did clap and give the occasional whoop but just not my bag.....

That's fine then! It's what I do when I hate the support but jeez the women I was surrounded by 😳
Like I said, Harry would have hated their behaviour!!

Boofay · 27/05/2023 12:19

I'm not a fan of Wet Leg at all, but I agree, not clapping or cheering is just plain rude.
Can't wait for Cardiff!

Anoana · 27/05/2023 12:29

We went last night, I thought Wet Leg were great, but the crowd weren't really that into them it seems.

Harry was good, but I did think it was all a bit thin. His banter was a bit shit - I'm sure it was 6 times he said 'is everyone having a good time' - and I thought that, live, the songs seemed quite simple really.

It was fun and DD loved it, but there were times I was checking my phone 😁

SpinningOutWaitingForYa · 27/05/2023 13:08

Yeesssss I took DD on Tuesday (Cov night 2) and it was incredible!

I definitely have a crush on him 😂 not sure who was more excited, me or DD!

I hated the "dynamic pricing" when I bought the tickets the day of release. Friends bought tickets a couple of weeks ago, sold as restricted view, but got moved and had way better seats than we did!

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 27/05/2023 13:55

I'm still not on planet earth yet!
I queued for 8 hours to get to the front and managed just three people off.
Everyone sang to everything there, we all loved Wet Leg, and went nuts for Proud Mary/Bohemian Rhapsody/Angels, even Travis.
Anyway, the first time the show was stopped briefly because someone fainted, the interaction he had checking what was happening was with me!!!!
The girl was fine, saw her afterwards, just heat, excitement etc.
Not the best interaction to have but I waited thirteen years for it and I'm taking it.
I was out of the house for 25 hours, on my feet for probably 15 of them but worth every single second.
I've been loads over the years but that was my favourite ever, I got more eye contact right at the end of SOTT which I have on video!
He's phenomenal 😍

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 27/05/2023 14:10

The queue was lots of fun too, I went on my own and made friends immediately, food/drinks/stickers/tissues etc were being shared.
The organisation was fantastic, they made absolutely sure we went in, in queue order, we had water passed back to us, (plus got a Harry baptism!).
I could not have asked for better, I'm happy to savour it now until the next tour and HS4.

@TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening DD and I were front standing and just went in at about 8ish so nowhere near right at the front but wasn’t too bad. We’ve decided for HS4, we’ll go all out and get pit tickets, how did you find the queuing, what do you do when you need a wee 🤔😂
