I saw him in July last year (at the insistence of DD). It was an all-seated concert and we had tickets in the second row. Pictures attached for fun:

DD queued for over an hour last year just to get into the tube station, she got home at 1.30am. (And we live not all that far from Wembley)

I used to live about 10 min drive from Wembley and my dad used to wait in the car in "our usual" place and collect me and friends, it was so easy in ye olden days!

This year we've got to get up for a uni visit the next day. we're going separately because apparently it would be embarrassing to go with me!!

@hellohelloQwe
St Pancras should be fairly straight forward. Wembley Park is the nearest tube...metropolitan line tube goes directly to Kings cross. Takes half an hour ish. Then walk through tube station to mainline St pancras.

spudulike1 · 24/05/2023 19:48

Going to the principality next month. My DD cannot wait. She keeps telling me we need to buy feather boas

Youarenotseriouspeople · 24/05/2023 19:49

@BernieWinters i put an alert on twickets because I needed one extra - I didn't take the alert off and there were hundreds coming up in the last couple of weeks - twickets only resell at face value.

thanks. I'm going to go prepared for a
long journey home and suck it up! At least the
mainline station has trains all through the night so no running for
the last train!

Was there last night with teenage DD and front standing. Loads of room for us to have a proper dance. He was absolutely brilliant

Youarenotseriouspeople · 24/05/2023 21:16

Ahh loving all the Harry love!! @spudulike1 we didn't have feather boas but literally everyone did - the floor looked like a chicken farm massacre at the end 😂

The hawkers were all selling them outside the arena, along with cowboy hats and heart shaped glasses. Everyone looked fab 😍

I'm going next month with teen DDS. I'm secretly learning the songs 🤣 I can't wait!

Gutted at all the positive responses. Bought tickets for Wembley before we had the a level exams timetable. Sod's law DD has exam on the Monday so we have had to be sensible and just put tickets up for resale. We are 2+ hours away and if it takes that long to leave can't see us getting home till early hours of Sunday morning. I am secretly hoping they won't sell so we will have to go. Hope he goes on tour next year

why do you have to sell the tickets if you think you'll arrive home early hours of sun / maybe very late Saturday night? surely your dd will have the rest of Sunday to lie in late and rest with time for some revision on the Sunday evening. Go to the concert and enjoy.

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 24/05/2023 23:48

I agree, it's also unlikely he'll tour next year given how long he's been on this one.
I've been watching live on Insta since the beginning, the Latin American shows last year were amazing, particularly the ones in the rain.
Wet Harry is off the scale hot!

I went on Monday! Just absolutely brilliant. I saw pictures from last night and thought he had a better outfit on for you guys!
I cant stop thinking about the mother and daughter in front of us. The daughter must've been in her very early teens and was clearly beside herself with excitement, and seeing how happy her mum was to share that with her, it made me want to cry, it was so lovely, she kept taking pictures of her daughters face and just putting her arm round her and they both had matching earrings and face gems, my mum was never like that with me and it was just heart-warming to see!
It was amazing for people watching! The outfits were amazing, anything went!
Didn't he come so well!

I'm not a fan but this made me teary...

Plump82 · 25/05/2023 08:51

I've got the feather boas all sorted along with sequins galore! When/where else can you were stuff like this if it's not a Hardy Styles concert!!

They sold within five minutes! I will give her the money for an after exam holiday with the school friends!

This happened to us last year, for Wembley. I was going to buy tickets but DD had a GCSE at 9am the next morning. Knowing we wouldn't get back until the early hours it just didn't seem fair.

We did get to go this week though and it was fantastic, well worth the wait. There's always another opportunity at some point.

citylifemummy · 25/05/2023 11:16

Going to see him on Saturday at Murrayfield! Does anyone know the best time to be there and if you have to be IN the stadium by a certain time?

Thanks so much 🪩

Wow that was quick. hope your dd does well in exams and an after exam hol is a lovely idea. No doubt they'll be plenty of opportunity to see Harry again in the future.

AuntieMarys · 25/05/2023 11:55

Going next month....we are mid 60s!! Excited about Wetleg too

Harebrain · 25/05/2023 11:57

Is the merchandise expensive? DD was hoping to grab a t shirt.

I think T-shirts were £35. Hoodies were £75 and even a poster was £25! I think I might get a tshirt from Etsy instead.

Fizbosshoes · 25/05/2023 12:03

@Harebrain
I reckon it will be. All the merch I've seen seems expensive (to me). A tshirt was 35-40 ish. Hoodies were £60

Harebrain · 25/05/2023 12:37

Thanks @Fizbosshoes

PollyAmour · 25/05/2023 20:37

Who benefits from the proceeds of merchandise? Harry himself or the venue or the individual sellers?

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 26/05/2023 00:20

No idea, I'm not buying any but I've ordered the Pleasing hoody and bought a set of nail varnishes from his pop up shop last year, plus have other stuff from over the years.

I'm getting v excited now, Satellite stompers all ready to go!

Youarenotseriouspeople · 26/05/2023 07:12

Have the absolute best time Edinburgh people!! Come back to us and let us know how it was 🤩
