Saw him at Old Trafford a year ago. I was a little bit disappointed because we were miles away and watching a screen. I also felt he was going through the motions a bit? It was before he went on to do the amazing London gigs and after the one where he introduced his mum I think. So not that much chat and audience participation. I think he was tired.

Obv he still sounded amazing. When he was singing ‘Boyfriends’ some silly lads behind us started making a ‘whoop whoop’ noise like a car alarm so we moved along to find another space. I went with my 20 year old in our feather boas and we still had a good time.

We saw him at Old Trafford too and if it was the first night I think he was overwhelmed. That's how it came across to me. His first "home" gig with his friends, family & teachers (!) was all a bit much for him! Still loved it though...& would see him again this year if it wasn't a major exam year in our house!

@ThroughThickAndThin01 i'm mid 40s but was with teen girls but I saw loads of older people without teens in tow - i think he has huge appeal to all ages

seeing him in Cardiff in June. I've seen him several gazillion times as One Direction. He's such an amazing entertainer!

Ostryga · 24/05/2023 17:59

hellohelloQwe · 24/05/2023 15:30

those if you've who've done Wembley, when does the gig finish and how long does it take to get back to the tube? I've got to get over to st pancras which isn't the easiest from Wembley! I can't wait!

From off the top of my head it finished 11ish.

Takes an absolutely fucking AGE to get out. I didn’t manage to get on a tube till gone past 3am. Was very vile!

megletthesecond · 24/05/2023 18:08

Ost 3am is nuts! I've not been to Wembley since the old days when it had a car park, so the trains weren't too busy. I had a feeling the trains would be rammed these days so I've booked us a coach there and back.

I saw him last night too! I was really concerned about being too old - was supposed to be going with 24 year old ds girlfriend but she had to pull out so I went with dh. We are in our 50’s 😀. Felt fine though, quite a few older people. I thought he was brilliant. Such a showman.

I'm 52 and I was down the front with dh 😬

He really does deserve fans across all ages, his voice is phenomenal. Hopefully he’s reaching all ages now with recent number 1’s continually played everywhere and a fair amount of tv exposure. I think because he has come from a boyband he automatically has a young fan base, but that needs to evolve.

I hope he becomes more like Ed Sheeran (similar age to Harry) as in appealing to a huge audience from all ages. We went to see Ed in concert and I had no concerns about being one of a few older fans there. There were thousands of us!

Brilliant! Lucky you.

TullyHart · 24/05/2023 18:28

I'm taking teen DD in June. She's obsessed, already planned her outfit to the tiniest detail. It includes a feather boa. I like a lot of Harry's songs and think he's a real showman so I'm happy to take DD, it's a memory she'll have forever 😊. We're in goad awful seats but the atmosphere will make it worthwhile I'm sure

Ostryga · 24/05/2023 18:36

Honestly I was the furthest away possible at Wembley. He was about a millimetre tall 🤣

But it didn’t matter. It was just completely incredible. Best night ever. You will both have an incredible time.

Ostryga · 24/05/2023 18:37

Miles away!

Has anybody been to see Harry Styles???
bringbacksideburns · 24/05/2023 18:38

HoppyHop**- it was the second home night so I think he may have been drained from the night before. It was more low key. It has been such a huge tour!

It took forever to get out of the area - I would recommend parking or walking some distance to a meeting place for those going to forthcoming gigs. We were stuck in traffic for ages. Luckily it was a scorching hot night. Harry broke the road system 😀

I went on Monday! Just absolutely brilliant. I saw pictures from last night and thought he had a better outfit on for you guys!
I cant stop thinking about the mother and daughter in front of us. The daughter must've been in her very early teens and was clearly beside herself with excitement, and seeing how happy her mum was to share that with her, it made me want to cry, it was so lovely, she kept taking pictures of her daughters face and just putting her arm round her and they both had matching earrings and face gems, my mum was never like that with me and it was just heart-warming to see!
It was amazing for people watching! The outfits were amazing, anything went!
Didn't he come so well!

Aww this reminded me of me and my dd. we've not seen Harry styles but my teen dd is a huge Billie eilish fan I went to a Billie concert with her last year when dd was 14. Dd was so overwhelmed and happy she cried tears of Joy it was lovely to see dd so happy it made me cry too. I also took pics of dd as it was a moment I never want to forget it was a beautiful experience to share with her. I was never a Billie eilish fan myself but I have to say it was an amazing night. can't wait to go again!

VintageThoughts · 24/05/2023 18:45

I'm taking DD and her friend to Murrayfield on Saturday. I was going to go with her until her friend realised she could go after all.

I'm happy for DD but a bit gutted I won't be seeing him myself! Four hours in the car to hang around all day then drive four hours back. I'm not bitter. Honest 😂

PollyAmour · 24/05/2023 18:50

My youngest daughter has told me she is going to marry Harry Styles but I think she has a LOT of competition. Way back in the day, I took her to a meet and greet One Direction, and Harry was delightful. Actually they all were very sweet, but Harry seemed to be the most confident and charming.

Ostryga · 24/05/2023 18:52

Oh I met Louis Tomlinson randomly once and he’s possibly more beautiful than Harry in real life! And that’s how my one direction/Harry Styles thing started in my 30s 🙄

TinaTotal · 24/05/2023 18:55

We went last year to Wembley and we are going next month to Cardiff!!! Can't wait. So excited. Maybe more excited than my 15 year old DD ❤️

kiwiwatermelonsugar · 24/05/2023 19:00

Yes, been twice and going again in a few weeks! The first two times were on a weekend with DD and her friends as they all were obsessed but now I'm going voluntarily again because I've become a proper fan of him too. He's amazing. X

Lucinda7 · 24/05/2023 19:00

I went by myself to see Harry six years ago at a Birmingham stadium when I was 64! I was probably the oldest person there but I didn't care. He is a born entertainer and can really sing. I wouldn't go now sadly as I think I am really too old at 70.

Louis is stunning but Harry's always been my favourite, right from his first audition.
Niall is aging v well too, as is Zayn.
I do hope Liam's ok, he seems v lost.

BernieWinters · 24/05/2023 19:14

How did you manage to get tickets, don't they sell out in a nano second? Any top tips for getting a half decent ticket the next time he tours?

Georgie8 · 24/05/2023 19:19

Taking my youngest this Saturday -she’s been very lucky to have been invited to Love On Tour concerts twice already with friends, in the UK and abroad.

Hoped to be able to reciprocate in Edinburgh, but they all have important exams and so I’m going with her.

I don’t know all the lyrics and so, I suspect, I’ll be dispatched to the merch queue for most of the concert 😂

Our very tenuous link to Harry is that our hairdresser (in the 1D days) cut Harry’s cousin’s hair and …..we sat in the very same chair!

Good on you @Lucinda7 you're never too old for a pop concert, or too young for a classical one. Music -in all its forms -is the food of love (to paraphrase Shakespeare), play on ….

megletthesecond · 24/05/2023 19:22

bernie they quietly released loads of restricted view tickets in April. I didn't have to queue. We're up in the God's to the side of the stage so won't be able to see the band but will see the front and the catwalk. I couldn't even try for tickets last Sept as I was waiting to see gcse timetables.

Hopingforagreatescape · 24/05/2023 19:25

I went with teen dd last year to Wembley. Best concert I've ever been to for the sheer joy of it. Brilliant atmosphere, everyone was just so happy! Teen dd is going again this year with a friend and parents and I'm just a bit jealous! But mainly overjoyed that she'll have a fabulous time.

@BernieWinters take a look on a website called StubHub - you might find reasonably priced resale tickets there. I've used them before and it was fine.
