We were watching the Pet Shop Boys at Wembley Arena last night.
Harry Styles has passed me by until now, but the sight of 60k girls in stetson hats and boas (and heart shaped glasses) is something I'll not forget in a hurry.
It was pretty easy to distinguish the psb fans!

I saw PSB yesterday as well - and drawn to this thread for the same reason! Never seen so many feathers on the ground and so many cowboy hats in one place!

EachandEveryone · 19/06/2023 01:07

I saw David and Harper Beckham on intagram having a jolly good time. Lots of celebs have been there this week.

Sausagenbacon · 19/06/2023 08:35

Yes, feathers EVERYWHERE Yuasa!
What did you think of PSB? I thought they were magnificent.

megletthesecond · 19/06/2023 08:51

I saw a feather whirlwind in the coach park as we arrived at Wembley on Saturday. I was getting a bit twitchy about it and wanted my litter picker.

For those who were seated, of the doors open at 5 what time would you recommend going in?

We're going Wednesday and cannot wait 😍

Fizbosshoes · 19/06/2023 10:09

We got there between 7 and 7.30 (seated) and had some horrible overpriced food!

FettleOfKish · 19/06/2023 11:16

We were seated at Wembley and like the PP arrived about 7.15 and didn't have to queue at all we just walked straight in. A good percentage of the seated audience arrived during or after Wet Leg.

Piscesmumma1978 · 19/06/2023 11:47

Thank you. We're not bothered about Wet Leg so will go later!

I went with DD (14) on Wed at Wembley. Had the tickets since sept (she was gutted that she couldn’t make the tour last summer) so it was ESSENTIAL we got these (booked with a friend). I initially resigned myself to play chaperone; knew a few of his songs and liked them but thought I’d better swot up. OMG, we had the best time!! He was an awesome showman and had the crowd in the palm of his hand. His voice was good and the songs and atmosphere were fantastic.
I may be old enough to be his mother 😁but I can totally see the appeal. Love his music and his cheeky persona. I’ve also never seen DD so happy which absolutely made my day/week/month.
Only downside was the quality of the speakers at Wembley. We were seated and there was a slight echo and sometimes feedback which was infuriating. Probably better quality at the front.

How's everyone coping with the post concert/Harry low?
I'm feeling quite sad it's all over. He was fantastic though. Haven't danced and smiled like that in such a long time!

I went on Wednesday and have been playing his songs ever since 😍 I've ordered a print from Etsy from the night and have been looking at our photos and videos.

I do wish I'd gone twice and had done Wembley.

He was just amazing wasn't he ❤️

Boofay · 24/06/2023 20:26

I was there for Cardiff N2 too!
Wish I could rewind time. It was so amazing!
I'm in my early 40's and danced the whole time, but then my knee went pop on the walk home and my husband had to pick us up! Worth every painful second since! 😂

Piscesmumma1978 · 24/06/2023 21:43

I'm 41 and danced and sang all night! My teen daughters did as well.

The people around us were all great fun which made it even better.

I hope he doesn't wait too long to tour again! Also hope your knee is ok x

@Boofay Well I'm pregnant after seeing Harry Styles so I guess that softens the blues 🤣

Almost 7 weeks with baby 3!

Thanks Harry 😆🪩

Sooooo....... How much are we thanking Harry for this pregnancy?!?! 😉
Did you find the aubergine?

mumtotwox · 30/06/2023 16:44

@Boofay 🤣🤣🤣🤣

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 30/06/2023 16:50

OMG Congratulations ❤️
I was on a thread last year on another site before his show with a pregnant woman and just the other day we were celebrating Baby Harriet's 1st birthday 🎂
She couldn't go to his show as pg. Knew she was having a girl so obvs baby Harriet.
I got over my Harry blues by seeing a few other shows and also, this week I went to Harryville AKA Holmes Chapel.
I did the Harry walk, I got my name on the village sign, I went to the bakery, I ran around in the long grass under the viaduct.
The locals are so friendly, are v clearly proud of him and said they love the fans visiting.

I think we've all zoomed in on the aubergine 🍆

Piscesmumma1978 · 30/06/2023 18:48

Aw, congratulations 😍 Baby Harry or Harriet 👍🏻

I'm still on Harrytok and love watching his new shows. I hope he's not gone for long after this tour, I'm going a few times on his next one!

Boofay · 22/07/2023 19:17

Last ever show tonight. Like a proper loser, I'm watching a live stream on Instagram! 😂

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 22/07/2023 21:54

So am I!
I'm going to miss watching, I've been doing it since the beginning, I even watched one on an overnight bus.

Piscesmumma1978 · 22/07/2023 22:49

His piano playing at the end 😍 He was brilliant tonight x

TullyHart · 22/07/2023 23:04

DD live streamed it too. She cried when he got emotional and she loved the bits he spoke in Italian. And the new song of course.

TastesLikeStrawberriesOnASummerEvening · 23/07/2023 06:30

I cried through most of it, I'm far too old really!
Today is 13 years since 1D were formed.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 23/07/2023 07:03

169 shows?! I’d love to know how long he could have kept going with sell out stadiums. Wonder if he is already writing new music, or having a break.
