I just ate a delicious orange, and I found myself wondering "How can people not like oranges? They are practically perfect in every way" although I'm the only person in my house that likes them. They all like bananas though, the weirdos! What food do you feel like that about? Not a meal (although Dan Dan Noodles....." but a single food item.

Nectarines or peaches. Used to love them until I bit into one, a few years ago now, and what looked like hundreds of small insects fell out of it and all over me. I googled this in utter horror and found that they were tiny earwigs. I avoid them like the plague now.

Mushrooms.
I think mushrooms are brilliant, definitely my 'Desert Island food'. However, there are loads of people out there who don't just dislike mushrooms, but physically loathe them.
(In saying that, I feel the same way about okra.)

…“too much admin.”

I love a good orange! I read somewhere that oranges were no longer popular because of the effort involved in peeling them!
