Are you comfortable being naked?

NC and no, this isn't a weird pervy thread! I was chatting to a friend recently and we ended up talking about body image/nakedness.

She lives with her partner and wouldn't think twice about wandering out the bathroom or around the bedroom naked. Me on the other hand, I'm really self conscious and I'd definitely always wear a towel or a robe. I have too many wobbly bits to feel comfortable wandering around in the nod when there's someone else there.

So I was just wondering how others feel on this subject? Are you a cover up sort of person or are you totally fine to wander about at home in the nip?

Totally fine to wander around upstairs naked while getting dressed etc, in front of partner. Wouldnt generally walk around the house or watch TV etc naked

I would have been comfortable 6 months ago, but a 1.5 stone weight gain means no, not until I’ve shifted the weight.

I'm the same as this. I'm happy enough to be naked in front of DH and my young DDs if I'm out of the shower/getting dressed etc but I wouldn't hang out round the house naked if you see what I mean. It's only when I'm getting changed/showered etc.

No, I cover myself as embarrassment

I am more than happy and would think it's weird if my husband felt the need to cover his body so I couldn't see it.

Oh and I'm about 4 stone overweight but that has no bearing on how comfortable I feel being naked in front of DH. I'm trying to lose weight at the moment but like to still give the impression of being confident and comfortable in my skin 🤣

Happy to be naked in front of husband. Married 25 years and never been bothered in all that time.

I’m comfortable in front of my partner, he has wobbly bits too . I’m just always bloody too cold! I’m in Scotland. 😀

Yes upstairs getting changed,but I don't have a partner ....if I I did have a partner then no I'd always cover up atm ...I am starting my weight loss and fitness journey this week though as I'm so very uncomfortable in my own skin xxz

My partner and I both have wobbly bits, more than happy to walk around naked, shower with him, watch to naked. In fact recently he removed a cyst from my groin area (without local anaesthetic!!)

Yes I'm comfortable being naked. My body is not perfect after 4 children and I have a squidgy tummy but my husband loves my body and I've made my peace with it. I wouldn't wear a bikini on the beach and I dress to cover the bits I don't like, but I have no problems walking round naked in front of my husband.

Not at all, I don't think my body looks nice and I'm not comfortable with it. I change quickly and stay covered even when I am alone. I also often avoid mirrors. Pathetic, I know.

No I cover up too.. I’m very uncomfortable naked. My body is ok, I’m in reasonable shape, not overweight. Dh couldn’t care less he’s very comfortable in his own skin. He can’t get his head around my attitude at all, we’re together nearly 20 years, he’s never once said one negative thing to me, he’s very complimentary but I don’t know why I just absolutely hate it!!

I'm totally fine with being naked, around my husband and my DD16 it's totally fine.

DS is 10 and he will nip in the bathroom to grab a tissue or toothbrush if I'm in the shower but he closes his eyes. Once he goes to secondary I can imagine this will stop...well I'll lock the door and tell him to wait at that point anyway.

Yes, in fact I said to my OH today I love warmer weather so I can wander around naked at home. FWIW I’m probably about 3 1/2 stone overweight but I have lost about that already. I’m far more body confident these days because I exercise regularly.
I actually said I like the concept of a naturist reserve but not the idea of ogling other people naked! 😂

I’m comfortable being naked with my DH of 30 years, but aware that too much wandering around naked will get him frisky - so I tend to cover up unless I’m in the mood 😀

We're all happy to be naked around each other as a family (oldest child is 4). This is generally confined to upstairs only (although there's an occasional dash downstairs for something out of the tumble dryer)!

If it's just me and dh I'm fine but with three teenagers in the house I'm never sure who's around so I cover up.

Happy to be seen naked by DH when changing, after a shower etc but wouldn't just sit around naked. DH would, if I didn't have a 'no naked buttholes on the couch' rule

As soon as I come home I take all of my clothes off, completely naked. I put a dressing gown if I’m going to sit on the sofa but if I’m in bed I’ll be naked. I will walk anywhere in the house naked
