Are you comfortable being naked?

NC and no, this isn't a weird pervy thread! I was chatting to a friend recently and we ended up talking about body image/nakedness.

She lives with her partner and wouldn't think twice about wandering out the bathroom or around the bedroom naked. Me on the other hand, I'm really self conscious and I'd definitely always wear a towel or a robe. I have too many wobbly bits to feel comfortable wandering around in the nod when there's someone else there.

So I was just wondering how others feel on this subject? Are you a cover up sort of person or are you totally fine to wander about at home in the nip?

It doesn't bother me but my dp is more body conscious and wouldn't wander around naked. I have plenty of wobbly bits but I don't care. There are only me and him in the house.

Happy to be naked pretty much all the time. DH not keen though so generally only in bed, walking from bathroom to bedroom etc.

Always been comfortable naked infront of my OH. Sleep naked happy to get out of shower infront of him etc I am who I am so I don't feel like I should hide it! But I wouldn't sit around naked on the sofa or anything as l don't find it comfortable lol

No. I have no issues with my body at all (slim size 6-8) but nakedness isn't my thing. My DC haven't seen me naked since they were too young to remember ever having done so.

I'm very comfortable, I frequently am naked. 😂 been with DH for 13 years. Happy with myself.

Totally happy at home and I used to feel like I couldn't wear a bikini but bought one on purpose a few years ago and wore it until I felt really comfortable. I started abroad but now will happily wear it to the local baths. I have wobbly bits but I've worked on not caring. I don't owe it to anybody to look like the models on the swimsuit adverts.

Yes. I use a gym and am happy to be naked in the changing rooms. No problem in front of my DH, he has inspected my episiotomy stitches on occasion, and we have been on many naturist beaches abroad and have many friends whom we have never seen clothed. Swimming in the sea naked is lovely.

When it's warm enough, I like being naked, but if I'm having a bloated day I don't - I feel physically uncomfortable when carrying extra weight.

I like sleeping naked.

Definitely cover up. I am very uncomfortable with my body and even hate just being more exposed in the summer

Only in front of Dh. When the dc were small we were all quite open about nakedness but now they are teenagers they would be truly mortified😂

But I have gained 8 stone over the last few years and I disgust myself, to be frank. I’ve totally overhauled my life recently, so I am on track to feeling and looking better.

I’m naked as little as possible as I wobble like a blancmange and it’s really physically uncomfortable.

(Please don’t give me the love the skin you are in crap, being morbidly obese is making me ill, hence turning my life around to get rid of it).

I hate being naked, always have done, no matter whether I've been very slim or a bit overweight. Even if I was home alone in a million years I would never sit watching the telly naked, or sleep naked. It's more a sensory thing than a prudishness think, I think, as gym changing rooms never used to bother me (haven't been in one for a few years though). May be influenced by the fact that I'm always freezing unless it's about 25 degrees.

im massively overweight too thanks to illness.

I have to say, I don’t tend to think about it. For me, if you are confortable being naked fir sex, surely you should be confortable baked to get dressed etc…

Naked. Even in front of the kids. If they start getting uncomfortable I will cover up. I'm quite relaxed about it. Their dad doesn't like nudity though so 🤷. Even when I was very very overweight (hated it) but was still naked.

my husband and kids (primary school age) see me naked on a daily basis

I seem to be melting like a 12th night Christmas candle these days. Which whilst fascinating a "fuck me" kind of way, does not actually lend itself to me projecting "fuck me" to someone else.

This. We are often wandering around naked here, the main issue is that next door's garden is a bit higher than ours and we have to do a quick scurry to the utility room before they see us!

Not bothered at all.

I wouldn't wander around naked for no reason though, whether I was alone or not. But if I'm changing, or have just come out of the shower, or need to nip downstairs to get some clothes off the airer I'm fine doing that naked. My DD are v young though, I won't embarrass them as teenagers by running downstairs naked.

If the kids (adults) aren't in residence I walk about naked, unfortunately they are usually here as we seem to be soft touches!

Only time i have no clothes on is having a bath - I sleep in nighties - I walk around in bra and pants on - but never naked would feel uncomfortable!
