I didn't watch the coronation but came across this article today.

She's very slim so I think it's very likely from these photos. Could be wrong though!

LOL at the Boris stans on this thread. I'd focus my outrage somewhere else if I were you. Unless you're an attractive woman he wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire and would say much worse things about you than are being said about him on this thread, the misogynistic, racist, corrupt, hypocritical twat.

No, they don't give a stuff. Not to the overpopulated planet or the future for those children.

She is supposedly an environmentalist! Really just a stupid selfish woman

I hope that you say this in person to any woman who has children and that - obviously - you have none of your own otherwise it's all a bit pot calling kettle isn't it?
Also - you do know that you are posting on MUMSnet right?
Your hatred of a happily pregnant woman that you do not know says a great deal about you - none of it good.

So you think that anyone pointing out the vileness of this SM attack on a heavily pregnant woman is a 'Boris stan'?

DorisParchment · 20/05/2023 09:13

Boris would be the one night stand that you really regretted and whom your friends would never let you forget. Keir Starmer would be the one your Mum wanted you to marry.

I worked with Boris, briefly. He is indeed charismatic and fun. He also looks like he sleeps in a skip, is nearly as wide as he’s high (he’s not much taller than me, I’d say he’s around 5’8”). And his friends call him Al.

There is a marked difference between having 2 children and 8. There is also a marked difference between people who quietly have large families without lecturing others, and those like Boris who have dogwhistled about women of colour who have large families because they have no control over their own bodies or access to contraception. What I get from this couple is it is ok for white people to have massive families with massive carbon footprints, but it is not ok for an Indian or a Zambian woman to have them.

Absolutely. It's utterly mind-blowing the hypocrisy this fool gets away with.

Can you please link to this?

GeriKellmansUpdo · 20/05/2023 09:48

I did upthread. Or you can look up Boris and Stanley Johnson's many pronouncements on overpopulation which border on eugenics.

Whenwillglorioussummercome · 20/05/2023 09:52

This was written originally in 2007 for example: https://theirishsentinel.com/2021/03/20/boris-johnson-global-overpopulation-is-the-real-issue/

Badgeringabout · 20/05/2023 09:55

I didn't see any dogwhistles in that speech.

GeriKellmansUpdo · 20/05/2023 09:58

We must be reading two different speeches then. Clearly female education and birth control and emancipation has made no difference to the pair of them.

GeriKellmansUpdo · 20/05/2023 10:01

Here's Stanley Johnson's speech on overpopulation, from his sanctimonious perch as dad of 6 children. "There has also there been a significant introduction of women born overseas who are of child-bearing age, and inclined in any case to favour large families." Nice. Clearly only certain types of large families are allowed.

Stanley Johnson: Why Britain needs a population policy | Conservative Home

If controlling our growth involves a rupture with the EU over the ‘freedom of movement issue’, then - in my view - that is a price which must be paid.

I am being sceptical, but I can't see why she's had 3 babies in 3 years other than to produce a 'brood' which she hopes gives her some 'staying power' with a wandering man. But it didn't work for his 2nd wife.

They started an affair when he was married and his wife was having treatment for cervical cancer. I admire how she's kept the moral high ground by saying nothing.

I hope we hear very little about them in future.

Garethkeenansstapler · 20/05/2023 10:14

@PhyllisFogg or generous CMS?

TabithaTitanium · 20/05/2023 10:18

StrawberryWasp · 19/05/2023 21:05

How lovely for her.
She is obviously really enjoying motherhood and her babies.

I presume she believes her husband is going to be a better family man this time round, despite his history. I hope for her sake and her children's she's right.

The comments on this thread are really pathetic.

When someone announces a pregnancy is your first thought usually whether you'd shag her husband or not?? What a weird and warped response.

And lots of women on Mumsnet have good relationships with significant age gaps, and lots of us have sex with our 60year old or older husbands. Because we love them.

Think about who you are insulting here it's not just Carrie Johnson, and I'm not sure why she deserves it, you are also insulting lots of other MNers reading.
Grow up.

Well said 👏

TabithaTitanium · 20/05/2023 10:20

So we're now insulting fat people and not very tall people?

Those talking about overpopulation, if Carrie hadn't married him she would be having the same amount of kids just with someone else surely?!! 🤨

Garethkeenansstapler · 20/05/2023 10:22

Where is the insult?

Ahh it was an observation, silly me.

PhyllisFogg · 20/05/2023 10:35

@StrawberryWasp I agree with some of what you said in your post, the bit about ageism.

I don't agree with much of the rest.

Carrie was an 'ordinary young woman' at uni who enjoyed being in the limelight. (I know people who were at uni with her.)

It takes 2 to tango, but I have little regard for someone who has an affair with a man already married, with 4 children to that wife. And it just happened that by getting to know him, she could further her contacts, career and future. (She'd allegedly been sacked from her previous job because of falsifying expenses on taxis.)

The way I see both of them is as purely selfish people who will ride roughshod over anyone who gets in the way of their ambitions. I couldn't care less how many kids they have but as he's not in office any more, and may not even be an MP soon, I don't see how why they need to be in the media now.

That is absolutely disgusting he might be getting too old to play away and create another family so Carrie might "win" him but what a great prize he's bloody vile. Watch out when you get old have health issues Carrie.

Hohohogreenjennie · 20/05/2023 11:42

I feel that Carrie may have a slightly skewed view of infidelity because of her own background.

I believe she was the result of an affair between two married people. She also doesn’t seem to have any full blood siblings (though I don’t know how close she is to any of her half siblings) but it could be a reason why she wants a big family. I’m sure I read she is also very accepting of Boris’ own love child too (and it was implied in the Boris covid tv drama too).

They live in a completely different world to the rest of us.

RoseMarigoldViolet · 20/05/2023 11:43

Do you know if it is true that Boris actually has more than his acknowledged 7 children (soon to be 8)? Are there others that are kept private? I know there are rumours but do you think they are true?

ThePoshUns · 20/05/2023 11:44

Urgh. Am glad they are together, they'd ruin another couple.
Hopefully she will enjoy it while it lasts, he will tire of her eventually.

Xenia · 20/05/2023 11:49

I did check wiki yesterday and it does seem to be 7 (soon to be 8) if you don't include the abortion and miscarriage with yet another lover) and the wiki entry was pretty specific. I vote Conservative and I am not sure why people are quite nasty on the thread when I don't think the Tories are quite so nasty about people like Corbyn or even Labour people who play around like Harold Wilson did back in the day.

FrostyFifi · 20/05/2023 12:18

He's far too bloody old.
