If you could choose your breast size- what size would you be?

I had a mastectomy a few years ago now need to get another one and I can't have reconstruction for a year.
Anyway on a lighter note I get to choose 2 new prosthesis in any size I want!
I've always been rather large so was thinking of going down from an F to a C/D?
If you could choose your size what would you choose?

I think it depends on the rest of your frame, I have a 30” back but my hips are around 37”. If I went down to a B cup I’d look really pear shaped/bottom heavy whereas I am currently hourglass. What shape are you overall?

Size 8-10 here and I have always been a comfortable 34B. I even used to sleep in a bra before reading that it’s bad for you.

32 feels way too tight. Went up to a 36 when I was pregnant.

I'm fine with mine (34HH).

They are big, but I am happy with them. Used to annoy me not being able to buy bras just anywhere though. But it's a lot easier now

Try a 30E - the band probably felt too tight as you didn't increase the cup size enough

It is pretty small in terms of volume.

Here's a 32DD @Ohfgsjon. A 32D would be even smaller in terms of cup size.

I’m a 34DD & would be very happy to wake up as a B. my boobs are out of proportion to the rest of my small figure and I think smaller ones are easier to dress and look more … elegant?

I’m a 36C and would like to be a 34DD. I’ve always wanted ones big enough for a decent cleavage but not too big

I'm a 32D, but I do have some old 34D that I still wear on the tightest hook. Happy with the size, would just prefer them to be the same on both sides!

I feel like professional fitters can over estimate size. I've been measured twice as a 32DD but I've never worn that size as I feel like it's too big in the cup. I'm much more comfortable in a 32D.

It probably comes down to the shape of your breasts and the shape of the bra.

Breasts are quite odd, aren't they? Bra fitting is a science.

I don't know about all this cup sizes don't matter. I've been measured and told to try all sizes. Bottom line is that whatever the back measure is I cannot fill a B cup. So I think it's accurate to say I'm an A. Happy with it anyway.
I haven't noticed any of us flat chested people wanting to be bigger.

I don't think less than an F would suit my frame. But you can buy F anywhere, and still have a fighting chance of a good sports bra actually working.

Currently a G, would love to be a D or maybe a C

I knew someone was going to argue this point with me.
I’m COMPLETELY flat chested. My measurement is AAA. I have a wide rib cage with nipples, zero breast tissue.
I wish people didn’t always feel the need to correct me when they haven’t been anywhere near me with a tape measure.

too big, makes clothes look cheap or matronly. I would go for a C cup.

@dementedpixie sorry to be arsey but honestly heard this SO many times before and it just isn’t true in my case

So many people on this thread need to go to Boob or Bust and learn their true size. The cup letter is practically meaningless without the back size and most women seem to wear too big a back size because they were fitted in M&S or simii where they add extra centimetres for no good reason.

I wear a 30 band and usually an E cup.

My breasts are pretty small and I can easily go without a bra. Cup size is meaningless really.

I still miss when I was a 32hh. I actually felt attractive. Now I'm a 38g/GG and hate that my boobs just looks small in comparison to my massive size 18 belly. However, my awful self esteem aside, if I didn't place all my value on my cleavage, then an 34E would be probably what I'd pain for.
