Continuation of previous threads (thread 6).
The new lair of JTT escapees is all cosy and homey; we have truly settled here. Outside, the garden is blooming with spring flowers. Inside, the hearth is glowing, pictures are up on the walls, rugs are down on the floors (and assorted pets curled up on them).

We just won’t mention the gnawed bones of our prey over there in the corner of the cave…

Can somebody tell me what these are please?

@Kucinghitam I'm so sorry about Phoebe. Sending love from me, Django and Francis and the downstairs visitors. Obviously they don't really give a fuck being cats, but I like to think that if they had a tiny bit of compassion, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility, that they would send love to one of their own.

You're all so lovely, and I add my good wishes to Kuc and Phoebe.

That's the sort of thing you need to prod to identify, but I suspect some sort of insect larvae or marine invertebrate.

Listening to radio 4 and for the briefest of moments I thought the presenter said "bullshitting forecast" when, of course, she'd said "the shipping forecast". The day has hardly started and the malopropism of my ears has already made it for me!

We're about to head to the vet with Phoebe, but in a spirit of distracting myself with amusing things I have very much enjoyed the unexpected twist on the Canestan thread.

I asked my DBro and sister-in-law about the Thai things.

(1) They're cicada eggs.
(2) The caption says something like "When my mother asked me to eat, I screamed. Mum fed it into her mouth screaming, delicious."
(3) Neither of them have tried this delicacy and can't vouch for the alleged deliciousness.
