I’m a landlord.
I eat loads of carbs and so far they haven’t made me fat or caused any noticeable sugar spikes.
I'm not married and whilst not quite a sahm I have been and now only work part time and am not at all financially independent.
I was on benefits for a bit.
Everyone in my family apart from me hates couscous.
I’m a nervous driver which apparently means I shouldn’t be allowed on the roads (even though several people irl have said it makes me a safer driver because I’m always giving it my full attention). Although I’d actually love it if there was a law saying nervous drivers weren’t allowed to drive because then I’d never have to 😂

I went to private school and I don’t feel the slightest bit bad about it. I have no problem with them.

I like the USA, am married to an American, and have lived and will live there again.

I’ve had a boob job
I’ve had Botox and filler. It’s worn off now but I am not at all opposed to doing it again.

Oh, more:
I don’t think ‘being rude’ is some grave sin that must be avoided at all costs. Context matters. If some CF is trying to take the piss out of me I’m not going to tie myself in knots trying to find a polite way to say ‘fuck off’.

I genuinely don’t know why being judged negatively on mumsnet is supposed to be upsetting. I don’t expect to be liked by everyone, and I don’t need to be.

I left my babies overnight with both sets of grandparents from about 8 weeks (I trusted them and they were all fine 🤷🏻‍♀️)
I let my kids have screen time.
I never really "played" with my kids and as a result both are great at independent play and they play with each other beautifully.
I drink wine and enjoy it, all of my family are "drinkers" and all lovely people with no issues.
I have a great relationship with my MIL and we do things together just the two of us because I enjoy her company and I trust her with my kids and never set any "rules"
I love spending Christmas with my parents/in-laws and don't get the whole "my little family" only Christmases as surely that's just like any other Sunday? However I have a great relationship with both sides so I'm lucky in that sense.
I don't think children should dictate every single aspect of your life - on holiday they stay up late so we can enjoy a later dinner or sleep in the pram or on two chairs together or if we have to be somewhere at a certain time we'd just put them in the car if napping etc - kids fit into our lives not the other way around.

I'm politely assertive and can communicate properly with people.

I never understand the many threads where people tie themselves up in knots because they can't communicate effectively, and martyr themselves because they can't say no.

A roast chicken in my house does 1 meal and if we're lucky maybe a sandwich later.
Until my beautiful girl had to be PTS I had a German shepherd in the house with 2 small children.
I happily left my 3 month old with her grandparents for 2 nights to go get pissed with her dad for the weekend. It's how we ended up with her brother.
Separate towels from main washing? I don't separate lights from darks.

I give and love to receive handmade gifts.
I like to spend time with my parents, live close to them and see them several times a week.

I have tattoos.
I've dyed my hair 'unnatural' colours.
I only wear black. And yes, I've worn it to a wedding.
I like my MIL.
I'm not gender critical.
I like drag.

Errrrrr I think that's it. I shall expect my excommunication by return of post.

i have wrist tattoos of my kids names and multiple piercings. One of my kids has one of the most hated names on MN
