Noooo NOT Bake Off

Just heard Alison Hammond is to co host Bake Off. Totally ruined it for me now. Bad enough when Mel and Sue left. I’m not sure Mr Hollywood is going to appreciate the competition.

I don’t mind Alison Hammond but must admit my first thought is noooo.

But then I’ll did a massive eye roll for Noel but really liked him with Sandy. With Matt it was too much. One or other maybe, but both didn’t work.

I feel that in the last series the ability level of the contestants was so much lower. The show stoppers in the final were show stopping for the wrong reason - they weren't that good..... I used to really enjoy it (loved Mel and Sue and also Noel but don't like Matt Lucas at all) but now it's heading towards the car crash which passes as reality TV......

I don't know, it could also be because they give them ludicrously difficult tasks and nowhere near enough time to do them.

I loved Matt Lucas on Bake off I thought he was great. I'm not a fan of Alison Hammond though. The interviews she did at the BAFTAs were embarrassing

I think it's good to have a non white host. I was hoping it would be Nadya. I don't watch GBBO anymore though as it's so terrible now, sonata immaterial to me who hosts. Can't stand PH either. The Australian one is better.

This is rather rascist IMO. Doesn't matter to me what colour the presenter is. It's their presenting talents that matter.

It's not racist to think it would be nice if there was more representation on telly 🙄
It is predominantly white and would be good to see more diversity!
