Is it time to defund the BBC ?

Just that - is it time to defund the BBC (Biased Broadcasting Corporation) and make it subscription only?

Perhaps some middleground at these difficult times. Cut the license fee in half and tell the beeb that they need to reduce their wage bill or fund the balance.

Honestly some of the wages they pay is beyond a joke. Talk about jobs for mates.

The BBC is a gem. The Right hate it because they can't make any money out of it and shove their snouts in the trough to follow our other nationalised industries, trains, electricity, gas, water, all now filling the pockets of shareholders at the expense of service users. Hands off the BBC.

I consume a lot of BBC content, but not the traditional news. Lots of radio and pod casts etc. When I compare it to the cost of Netflix, which I also have, I think it’s good value. Some excellent journalism way beyond political coverage.
