This snow is inadequate

I've had met office weather warnings of snow for the past 3 days.

Yes I've had snow but its the crap beanbag filling type snow that is gone within the hour. I want big chunky flakes bleaching down, while I sit on my sofa looking out of the window.

Horrendous here.

Few inches deep.

Cars and roads covered and continuing.

Hoping schools will be shut tomorrow cos I dont know how I'm gonna get the kids there.

It snowed for the entire day here yesterday, big chunky flakes as well. But barely any of it setttled! What's the point?

Snow. What snow? We had a few flakes that flurried around for five minutes and that was it. We did have the arctic explorer wind though.

Had loads of snow here but none has settled, we are near the river. People who live further south (in our county) have told me they have proper snow!

Absolute waste of snow here also. Have just looked out and everywhere is white, but can tell that's been done by the crap snow we've had all day and once a couple of cars go through it, it'll be gone.

3/10 as currently white but very much doubt will last.

We had no snow at all yesterday, until I had to drive into the city for work. The outer areas of Birmingham had lots of snow. Plenty enough for school closures.

I was hoping for school to close just so I don't have to do the stinking school run but alas nothing has settled. Even where ds's school is up in t'hills where it's usually more severe weather haven't had it too bad.
I agree. Massive disappointment.

2/10 yesterday here, I think today is going to be more 8-9/10. White everywhere at the moment and very blizzardy. Hopefully dd2's school is open and the roads are clear for me to make it into work.

We’re absolutely white over here! All the schools closed yesterday, even the main roads are terrible and our own road can’t be seen.

I hate the stuff. I’ll send it your way.

We are Sheffield too and had emails at 9pm last night saying DCs school was closed today. They closed early yesterday too. Did your DDS stay open all day?

3/10 here. It's deep enough to make getting to work a nightmare but maybe not deep enough that work will close. I work in a local school. Lack of effort on the snows part tbh. Quite disappointed, I fancied a snow day 🤷

Ursterday it sowed ALL day, and not a flake settled.
This morning looks like the words has gone white, but probably only a cm.

Desperately hoping work calls to day school shut in the next half hour, otherwise I'm going to have to set off.
