Can someone PLEASE help me find a holiday. I could literally cry, I'm not being dramatic. I will send you presents. And wine.

Been searching for weeks.

Found something last night. Had to put deposit in bank before paying and it's gone. No AI left and everything thing else seems to have gone up by about £500 overnight.

If anyone can please help because I'm just on the verge of tears.

Requirements.

  • Spain, short 2/2.5hour flight (A must due to autistic child)
  • 6 adults. 2 children. 3 BEDROOMS needed.

-All inclusive.

-A week to 9 days BUT if its a week we need to fly early hours and leave late hours to get a decent first and last day in the sun.

If anyone can find me anything I will send you a present. I'm not even joking. 😂

I had something for 550 each for 9 days all inclusive and its gone. I've actually started crying now. This is so stressful :(

Max budget 5k.

Save your tears, I really recommend using a travel agent to help you! Loads of Travel Counsellors reps advertise on Facebook, or search for a local independant tracel agent. You just contact one, give them the same details you gave here and they do the searching. They sometimes have better deals than you'd find yourself. There's no fee and no pressure to book through them!

I'd cry over holidays too. Indeed have done- when our trip on Cunard was cancelled in 2020. Had paid for it and my DCs and parents as well. Because it was about more than a holiday.

As I think one PP mentioned try Tui, I've just looked (can't link though) and they got some in Majorca for around £800 each at that time. They're pretty straightforward to book with

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that I have NEVER has a holiday abroad, ever with my children.

I am on disability benefit and struggle every month at some point.

The reason my budget is so strict is because my parents are paying. For all of us. Because theyve sold their house.

This holiday is my inheritance.

And not something I would EVER be able to afford.

I can't even afford caravan holidays in UK.

So yes, I know there is a cost of living crisis, thanks.

And I'm told alot I'm annoying.

That's why I'm a 41 year old woman with no friends.

Because people don't like to deal with Adults who are neuro divergent and have mental health issues. I've been told my whole life I'm annoying (I think I'm being funny but it never comes across that way) . What's one more stranger on the net tell me that?

Ignore the mean people, you deserve this holiday. You will get something nice, some of the flight times are a little antisocial but there’s still a reasonable amount of choice in budget with the criteria you need on the site I linked to.

Have you looked at airbnb

You can book your accommodation separately and use skyscanner to find the cheaper flights.

My DC booked a villa in Turkey last year and flights and it was really cheap.

Europe is so expensive this year. The flight is longer for places like turkey but you will save money.

The two i have posted above are both 4 star which in my opinion makes a lot of difference to the quality and variation of the food you get, number of specialty restaurants etc. So less chicken nuggets and chips and more fine dining choices and themed evenings. Better quality alcohol and wine etc as well.

I am in the same boat but with 2 autistic kids and an 18 year old, neurotypical. We have decided on a villa as hotels just don't work anymore, sensory issues etc.
I was set on Menorca but all the good ones have gone ie near shops and beach. Now looking at Majorca. I have been at this for a week so I feel your pain.

Good luck and thanks for posting, will trawl through the replies to see if I can get any tips.
