To nobody’s surprise, the frantic pace of this latest game means that the last thread is full and (as far as I can see) <polishes lorgnette> we don’t yet have a successor. So, off we go with a Brunswick Lateral to

Russell Square

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2023 09:59

But if it’s cricket you crave, let’s mosey over to

St John’s Wood

KenMastersGoldBracelet · 29/03/2023 10:12

Fearful as I might be of a Bakerloo Redress, nevertheless:

Turnham Green

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2023 10:44

Nicely done, Ken, nicely done. Following Pilkington’s Protocol, I am now aiming for

Clapham North

DuckonaBike · 29/03/2023 19:22

Very subtle, Maud. I’m impressed as always.

West Brompton

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2023 21:32

That’s kind of you, DuckOnABike, but I know you’ve been playing the game of games at least as long as I. Weren’t you in Toulouse in ‘74?

Goodge Street

Thewolvesarerunningagain · 29/03/2023 23:22

A zone 1 after a zone 2! Astounding form there Maud! I feel unworthy but can I offer a free pass to Liverpool St?

GonzoFlyingProducts · 30/03/2023 00:00

A shrewd move to Holland Park (there be dragons). But with the diagonals open and no apparently danger of ending up in Nidd:

TURNHAM GREEN

GonzoFlyingProducts · 30/03/2023 00:02

Ooops - replied to the end of page eight and repeated the move to Turnham Green without realising there was a page nine. Have I caused an Eddington?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/03/2023 00:33

Oh, Gonzo. We’re teetering precariously on the brink of an Eddington but I think I can fix it with a horizontal reverse brake to

Victoria

OP posts:
Thewolvesarerunningagain · 30/03/2023 02:20

Well that's a relief!

LlynTegid · 30/03/2023 09:08

Let us move to Northfields, possibly more fresh air and less noise given the cancellation of flights because of some contre-temps across the Channel.

HazelBite · 30/03/2023 15:03

If its fresh air you want how about Roding Valley

(Don't threaten me with Nidd for that move!)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 30/03/2023 17:37

If it’s fresh air we seek, I can think of nowhere better than

Tooting Bec

OP posts:
DuckonaBike · 31/03/2023 19:45

I was hoping everyone had forgotten about Toulouse in 1974 actually Maud. With hindsight, the strippergram may have been a mistake. Jolly good sausages though.

Ealing Common

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 31/03/2023 21:10

Those of us who were there are unlikely to forget Toulouse, although several years in a Swiss sanatorium did reduce the anguish of the maitre d’ and that poor scout master who had the misfortune to be in the foyer when, well, you know what happened.

Hackney Downs

OP posts:
HazelBite · 31/03/2023 22:20

You cannot keep looking back time to make new memories, scale the heights, etc, thus I will move to Canary Wharf

GonzoFlyingProducts · 31/03/2023 23:14

St James' Park (for Petty France)

TragicMuse · 01/04/2023 13:09

Ah. I see what you've done there @GonzoFlyingProducts very nifty.

However, I have been here/there before.

Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/04/2023 13:21

Yes, a transparent ploy from Gonzo there, but it does inspire me to search for la vie en rose in the balmy environs of

Maida Vale

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 02/04/2023 19:57

I think you may be disappointed in Maida Vale, not the same since the great debate there in 1998 about the use of a lateral.

Bayswater

JimmyDurham · 02/04/2023 20:25

Acton Town, Acton Central, North Acton and West Acton. A full house. Read 'em and weep suckers!

GonzoFlyingProducts · 02/04/2023 21:49

Ah the excellent Acton Gambit, I once saw it played in reverse - caused chaos that lasted until Samantha had to step in. And speaking of Samantha;

CLAPHAM

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 03/04/2023 00:42

Ah, Samantha is a lively girl and so gregarious. Last time I saw her, she was playing the trombone in a crowded but very seedy bar in

Penge West

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 03/04/2023 08:24

No musical instruments required to move to Shadwell using the London Overground rule.

HazelBite · 03/04/2023 09:22

Purists of the game of games like to overlook the Overground rule, (as I am of advanced years) I consider myself a purist therefore, back on track, to Queens Park
