Brains are indeed tricky things! I spend far too long considering my next moves, and working out the best strategy, it must be my advanced years it takes a while, inspiration does not come easily.
So after much thought Watford (gateway to the North!)

There are apparently heritage trains run between Watford and Amersham from time to time. So the use of the heritage trains rule takes me to Amersham.

For geographical balance, we must progress to the gateway to the south.
