To nobody’s surprise, the frantic pace of this latest game means that the last thread is full and (as far as I can see) <polishes lorgnette> we don’t yet have a successor. So, off we go with a Brunswick Lateral to

Russell Square

OP posts:
AmytheDancingBrick · 12/08/2023 06:39

That’s very true@LlynTegid and deserves a risky move to Whitechapel.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/08/2023 09:29

It’s often overlooked, but as it’s before 11am on a Saturday I’ll try a divided Worthington to

Snaresbrook

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 14/08/2023 17:10

Time to go around the loop to Hainault.

HazelBite · 14/08/2023 21:50

If you're using a divided Worthington I think one of the few options is Embankment

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 14/08/2023 22:00

Worthington has served me well over very many years. Onwards now to

Clapham North

TragicMuse · 16/08/2023 13:14

I've been visiting the Mater...happy days. Hot and cold running Pimms in every room.

Hic

Waterloo East

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/08/2023 14:08

How is the Mater? I heard from the Colonel that she’s been very much better since she moved to that exclusive clinic in Gstaad.

Osterley

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 16/08/2023 19:50

Haven't spoke to the Colonel for a very long time, doubt if I would be recognised any more.

Northfields.

TragicMuse · 17/08/2023 12:43

The Mater is fine and dandy, the mountain air agrees with her! All that Edelweiss, eh?!

Now I'm back I must return to the atelier which requires a shopping trip to...

Goldhawk Road.

Lovely bit of schmutter!

LlynTegid · 17/08/2023 13:27

In remembrance of the late Michael Parkinson, a move to Wood Lane near the BBC studios where so many of his chat shows were held.

No idea if he ever played the game of games.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/08/2023 13:39

I rather imagine that many a game would have been played in the green room. It would have contributed to the relaxed and convivial (but occasionally tense) air of so many of the interviews.

Aldgate

HazelBite · 19/08/2023 13:43

I have been examining recent moves and I have the feeling that we have let ourselves become a little distracted from the Game of Games in its purest form, so with that in mind I shall boldly go with Belsize Park!

LlynTegid · 19/08/2023 15:01

And I shall play the closed stations rule and continue on the Northern line to Bull and Bush.

LlynTegid · 26/08/2023 10:38

I have never quite understood the rules about how you can end up in Nidd. I know there are certain rules that can only be played on a Sunday under the 1967 convention, which I think changed those from the original 1907 game.

Golders Green should prevent that.

HazelBite · 26/08/2023 15:04

I've been listening to the football I feel moved to Tottenham Hale!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2023 15:52

Then for the sake of local balance, we must progress to

Arsenal

OP posts:
HazelBite · 26/08/2023 18:14

Hush your mouth Maud!
I have high hopes Wembley Park

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2023 20:21

Manners, HazelBite! Let’s try

Wimbledon

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 27/08/2023 10:08

Tram rule and a walk gets us to South Wimbledon

LlynTegid · 06/09/2023 19:08

Now on to Colliers Wood.

Burnoutqueen · 06/09/2023 19:25

The Kermit rule applied to allow me to hop in at
High Barnet

TragicMuse · 06/09/2023 21:45

Deep breath

Kilburn high road

HazelBite · 06/09/2023 23:01

I'm taking a lateral transverse to Finchley Road

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/09/2023 00:46

Hmm. Tricky. Very tricky. That’s closed off all my most promising options, but I think I can limp on to

Archway

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 07/09/2023 07:40

The kermit rule being played has been a great help. I can move to East Finchley without having to use the rail replacement bus rule.
