To nobody’s surprise, the frantic pace of this latest game means that the last thread is full and (as far as I can see) <polishes lorgnette> we don’t yet have a successor. So, off we go with a Brunswick Lateral to

Russell Square

@DuckonaBike such shenanigans indeed, I lead a very quiet and sheltered life now, I met the Admiral during my extreme youth, and I am now far too embarassed to divulge the details of our "interactions" Janice I fear will never learn.
I'm going (very quietly) to Chalfont and Latimer

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/04/2023 17:54

Sheila Nanigans was a mysterious but notorious figure on the southern MC circuit in the 90s. It was rumoured she was behind that deplorable business in Bournemouth which led to the Wing Commander taking a permanent overseas posting and was the reason we can no longer hold the annual social in the Fortnum and Mason tea room. I’m not surprised to hear she’s a friend of Janice’s.

It is a bit quieter in Brixton with one of the local music venues closed, so I shall venture there.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/04/2023 17:00

It’s rarely quiet in Brixton.

Clapham North

HazelBite · 27/04/2023 13:30

I think there is still a music venue at Finsbury Park

DuckonaBike · 27/04/2023 21:16

Ah, music. A harmonic loop to Kentish Town

LlynTegid · 27/04/2023 22:13

Closed stations rule in play, to South Kentish Town.

HazelBite · 03/05/2023 06:05

So there appears to be a level of inactivity on the network, I feel that bearing in mind that there will be an influx of the great and the good shortly to the capital so I'm going to go to Green Park

LlynTegid · 03/05/2023 07:20

I move to Charing Cross as I think a better view may be afforded of an event from the street near there.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 03/05/2023 08:22

Apologies for my absence. The Colonel and I were at the conference in Nice, looking at refinements to the game of games in the light of the High Court’s judgment last week in the Hammerton case. But I digress …

We need to get there early, to be at the front of the queue, so

Westminster

LlynTegid · 07/05/2023 09:49

Time to go off to the concert then to Windsor and Eton Central.

HazelBite · 07/05/2023 13:37

No, no , no we must keep it Central!
St. James Park

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 07/05/2023 13:42

And regal!

Now events are all over, let us move to Ravenscourt Park for some quiet reflection.

HazelBite · 09/05/2023 18:58

Good thinking!
Ruislip Gardens

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2023 19:20

I feel emboldened to play my favourite move: Penhaligon’s Lateral to

Turnham Green

OP posts:
DuckonaBike · 09/05/2023 20:45

Nice move, Maud. I’ve been keeping a low profile during the recent royal shenanigans, but I think it’s now safe to emerge.

Putney Bridge

LlynTegid · 09/05/2023 20:48

A short move to East Putney. Apparently there is some important contest somewhere on Saturday, no doubt a minor event compared to the infamous 2014 tournament of the game of games, where a move to West Brompton nearly caused a riot.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2023 08:34

Ah, that’s opened things up nicely and enables a transverse to

White City

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 22/05/2023 21:45

After the hiatus a move to Shepherds Bush.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/05/2023 23:16

That was certainly worth the wait! Such a daring move, far more complex than it might appear to a casual observer.

Stockwell

HazelBite · 23/05/2023 05:45

I counter with Bounds Green

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 23/05/2023 19:18

I’m keen to attend a flower show, so am using a lateral Boddington to divert to

Sloane Square

OP posts:
LlynTegid · 23/05/2023 19:26

I think that on a longish summer evening, a move to Richmond is appropriate.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/05/2023 11:15

I’m preparing myself for the inevitable protests - someone’s bound to wave the 1967 Walsall Protocol under my nose - but
