We need to repaint and don't know what colour. Currently it is 2 tones of grey and DH hates it. We want to go all one colour.

What colour is yours?

Just had mine decorated, the first time since I've been in this house, and the first time ever that I've been able to choose what I want (with input from DD2)

I have Dulux Pressed Petals on three walls, it's a dusky pink colour, and pink Whispering Trees wallpaper on one wall.

The rest of the house (except bedrooms) is painted in Dulux Natural Slate.

I absolutely love it!

PrincessOfWaiIs · 13/02/2023 13:26

Deep burgundy.

JaninaDuszejko · 13/02/2023 13:29

What direction does it face? That will make a difference. I have an east facing living room in Middleton Pink. In sunlight it feels like quite a cool colour but in artificial light it becomes warmer and a bit peachy but not too much (I'm really not a fan of yellow in paint and find most 'warm' colours too yellow).

Dammit picture won’t load.

@BitOutOfPractice they used the mint on interior Designs the other week, it looked good. I think the bright rainbow would be great for a kids bedroom. I like the blueberry you've got

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 13/02/2023 13:32

North facing, Dulux Egyptian cotton. Which is fine, but I prefer more interesting colours so placemarking for ideas.

WalkAwaySugarbear · 13/02/2023 13:32

Walls are mostly off white, School House White with a part wall dark green, Green Smoke. This is where the TV is so it blends into the wall better. I love it. Not yet finished with the rest of the furnishings, but planning neutral natural finishes like chunky wood tables, textured light brown curtains.

If you ever get the chance to do shrooms in that room... Grin

QforCucumber · 13/02/2023 13:36

Dulux heritage stone green with pale grey curtains and sofas

mrscumberbatch11 · 13/02/2023 13:37

Recently moved house and it's currently grey.

Will be changing as soon as possible.

Season0fTheWitch · 13/02/2023 13:38

Caramel beige with white trim

Euchariahere · 13/02/2023 13:39

A dark navy blue mostly

RoseMarigoldViolet · 13/02/2023 13:44

White to maximise light and make the room bigger, but livened up with pictures on walls, plants and bright cushions.

LondonQueen · 13/02/2023 13:45

Neutral colours with black accents. So calming.

WhoNeedsSleepNotISaidMyBody · 13/02/2023 13:45

I believe it's called dry plaster...

or to be more exact, incredibly dry plaster!

im not saying when it was plastered!

obviously needs painting (whole house) but I now need to get decorators in as life has changed significantly & I'm no longer physically able to do the sanding, several coats of mist plus top coats. The one room & bathroom I did get to do are beautiful & I'm unhappy about having to get someone else to do the others. Trades people are SO hard to find & I can't get any local recommendations.

TenoringBehind · 13/02/2023 13:47

One is dark green (F&B Green Smoke) with bright yellow sofas and lamps. White shutters.

The other has creamy/yellow wallpaper, white woodwork, red cream and black curtains.

BankOfDave · 13/02/2023 13:53

Dulux Heritage Green Oxide - think duck egg shell blue rather.

I love all shades of green/blue/turquoise’s. Lots of lovely sage greens around.

Echobelly · 13/02/2023 13:53

Our main living room is very open plan so it's just a cream colour, but our front reception room is a sort of period duck egg blue that I really like (it's a high ceilinged house from c1910). We were going to do a really strong royal blue but then DH decided he didn't like it and I'm kind of glad as, while I still like it, it's turned into a very 'right now' fashion so it would have dated, and a paler grey blue is more timeless.

Hazelnup · 13/02/2023 13:54

Very pale yellow, is lovely 😀

Oliack1417 · 13/02/2023 13:55

Very neutral! Taupes and blues.

Zipps · 13/02/2023 13:56

Nordic Bliss and Nordic sky. We have a very Scandinavian look in our house (it's in my blood, a quarter of my family are Scandinavian). South east facing with two windows, lots of white, wood, log burner, candles etc.

Maxineputyourredshoeson1 · 13/02/2023 14:00

I have Dulux perfectly taupe with tartan wallpaper (in neutral colours).

emptythelitterbox · 13/02/2023 14:05

One is white with some weird greenish tan print wallpaper on one wall and the other is white with a dark pukey green grey as a feature wall.

Hate the colours in this house.

Hopefully someone buys it soon.

desperatehousewife2 · 13/02/2023 14:05
