Never stopped him before! And he's salaried for life now, regardless of any other work he does

Half a million US dollars though for a one night stand - I don't think so !

Why isn't everyone talking about the fact that Shell has just announced profits of over 32bn this year?
Thirty-two BILLION!
This is their biggest profit in over a hundred years.
After what we're all going through; people are suffering massive hardship and these are just rubbing it in our face.

Free market good!!!! isn't it?

UK has raised 100m in additional taxes from Shell (Shell is listed on the LSE) that'll teach em!!! and still giving billions in decommissioning subsidy for the oil industry in the North Sea.

You really couldn't make it up.

There is NOTHING in Boris Johnson's history that would support any suggestion that he could be unfaithful. I'm shocked.

I don't think that many people think about the effect on their pension when they hear news like that. There's isn't the immediate link between firm's results and their profits and sector growth having a direct effect on a pension fund's investments

The amounts pension companies invest in energy, in all its forms is approx 4% of total pension funds.

The reason being is that pension firms invest in a vast range of sectors... the biggest hit on Pensions was Truss and the effect her budget has and still has on Gilts.

So go on your DC pension account and see the hit has taken in recent months, it wont increase because of Shell.
