Will it be a Royal story? Harry at the Coronation?

Or something about Zahawi and taxes

@justasking111 I know I can not believe how corrupt this country has become. Totally shocking.

PumpkinSoup21 · 31/01/2023 12:49

Sorry if this has already been pointed out but I spotted this on Twitter. It was a reply to a tweet from the Guardian which has been deleted. He is editor of a financial paper in London so suggests that the story is/was finance/business related. So maybe it was the IMF thing 🤷‍♀️

Where are the King and Camilla today? Does anyone know?

I'll have a look for the court circular or whatever it is called.

Ah ok, the court circular reports on the day before, not the current day; that makes sense from a security p o v.

I saw that too

I just can't see an economic story unless we're rejoining the EU and adopting the euro

being bailed out by the IMF - did that happen in the 70s? - is info that would come from them, the PM, or broken generally by Reuters.

this seems like two papers have secured a story and someone has lawyered up. The footballer thing seems likely.

justasking111 · 31/01/2023 12:53

You've got Sadiq Whittington Khan destroying London with impunity. Not a murmur from any party. He's the bloody mayor for gods sake not some divine being.

We deserve better from our government than this.

ilovebrie8 · 31/01/2023 13:00

Any closer to finding out the story was that was embargoed?? Never heard of the before !

EmmaEmerald · 31/01/2023 13:03

The people who are new to the whole embargo thing is making me feel old!

…in fact…

(Wish this place had an Edit function.😡)

Don’t worry - I didn’t read your post after the mistake bit you made, until I saw you corrected it. You defiantly should of read it firstly before sending.

Seriously:
Lots of very tiresome academics seem to not be able to understand that sex and gender are not interchangeable. If you can’t get reality right, there’s no dignity in being an academic.

Huh?

EmmaEmerald · 31/01/2023 13:09

Just seen the Princess of Wales in what some might call an emerald green coat, but is more accurately a Russian diopside coloured coat. It is also fabulous.

I should put that on Twitter as a talking point!

this story has been stopped for good, I reckon.

TightFistedWozerk · 31/01/2023 12:40

Cam22 v Muphry's Law, the law won. Tee hee.

Huh?

feellikeanalien · 31/01/2023 13:14

If it's the Guardian and the Telegraph it is more likely to be a "serious" news story rather than some gossipy royal family stuff.

Maybe Nicola Sturgeon is going to resign!

ReneBumsWombats · 31/01/2023 12:42

How do you know which posts have poor grammar and spelling if you don't read them?

Well obviously I begin reading but stop as soon as I see I am reading nonsense. 🙄

Should we all have stopped reading when we reached the typing error in your post?

shard5 · 31/01/2023 13:25

It must be something to do with Harry. His disclosure of this something has meant neither his father or brother can take the throne! Paving the way for Hazza!!

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2023 13:26

All hail King H

plumopie · 31/01/2023 13:29

Well the royal limosine with standard on the front drove past my house half an hour ago. I've never seen that before in my neck of the woods.. But I didn't see anyone in it.

Jenasaurus · 31/01/2023 13:35

DC universe...comics....I think the announcement is that Spiderman is real...

BaronessEllarawrosaurus · 31/01/2023 13:43

That timing makes the 1.30am make even less sense. 1.30am is 8.30pm EST

namechange1487 · 31/01/2023 13:43

Good grief

JaneJeffer · 31/01/2023 13:44

But we knew that already @Wheresthebeach
