Don’t know if anyone has followed this, but she had an arrest warrant issued today for failing to appear in court for breaching a restraining order he has for domestic abuse. Their poor children seem like an afterthought.

This is what I was trying to say. It's always the woman who is left dealing with the scrutiny of how she has coped with being replaced/betrayed/abandoned.

He got to abandon his family and still get to be close to his daughters through the ''common enemy'' strategy. Not saying it's a strategy for him, I'm sure he loves his daughters. But bottom line, he left, literally, he left the parenting to her and got a new girlfriend and yet becauuse of her inability to HIDE her pain, the daughters will end up buying in to their dad's narrative that mummy was a bit worthless crazy and replaceable, oh, and meet bianca your 30 year old step mom

To me it just looks like the script playing out. He goes off abroad to work while she's at home looking after the kids and while working away meets BW, then with AE is all 'I don't think I love you, I might leave or I might stay'. Then it looks like things are definitely lined up with BW even after the job finishes and so he's not seen for dust and AE is blindsided. Then AE says some unkind things to him and she's called an abuser and it's all made out to be her fault and she said he was balding and had saggy eyes and that hurt his feelings so it was understandable he shagged someone else.

I mean he met BW at work while he was still with Alice, lets not be naive here, chances are they were shagging well before he split with her, men always want the next one lined up before they leave a long relationship.

If I understand it right (and I haven't been following it) but it seems that AE gave up her career to look after the kids so he could go off all over the world filming. I'm not surprised she's absolutely gutted that he's fucked her over and is lashing out, the problem is they're celebs so it's all over the press which is bad for the kids but I don't think she's mental at all, she just needs time to get over the betrayal and it will probably take a few years.

I remember her being on Lorraine when it all kicked off and felt for her. She really seemed like a broken woman. Can’t see anything since from Lorraine? Seems everyone in the industry has distanced themselves from them.

He provided evidence to the court that after she did that Lorraine interview she sent him an email that said "Want more?"

If you read the court documents this is not really what seems to have happened at all. He told her he wasn’t happy when he got back from a job but they kept at it for another few months. It then became obvious it wasn’t going to work so they separated. During their separation he began a relationship. Someone on SM I did see found that BW was with someone else when they first crossed paths and it was many months later they seemed to have reconnected/connected. I don’t think he denied he had met her on set but he says that it was not until later they developed into something more.

He is not A list, BW is Z list. They only get their faces in the papers because they pay for it or post it themselves. They don't have to do it, knowing that Alice cannot handle it. I hold them more responsible than her for the mess.

I think that AE was 40 before she had their first daughter.

If her career hadn't happened by then it was probably never going to.

Of course staying at home with the kids did mean that she wasn't advancing in anything else either.

I did think that about the paparazzi photos- they aren't really famous enough for the paparazzi to follow them? Or maybe because of the divorce they will now.

I don't like Alice at all, but they all say that, don't they? They meet someone else, leave the marriage, but tell everyone nothing happened with the OW til the marriage was over. And I think Alice's ex BF turned out to be gay, so no one knows what went on with them behind closed doors.

As I said, I don't like Alice. I believe Ioan was abused for a long time but he hasn't covered himself in glory in his behaviour since they've split up, especially with regards to those poor kids. I think people are blinded to his behaviour because of their huge dislike of Alice though.

Surely he's made a lot of money over the years? He was the star of a TV filmed in Australia and sold all over the world. He was a main character in that Sarah Michelle Gellar show. He was in a marvel movie.

He must have made some money, where is it all?

Why did he agree to pay school fees and enrol daughters in a private school if he wasn't sure he could afford it? It's so unfair to them.

This is not ok. You would never say this to a woman who left an abusive man. No one can leave a toxic relationship well. How many times is it people go back? How long does it take women to leave? He says he was leaving a DV situation yet everyone is trying to find reasons to excuse what she’s done by making him out like he is getting his comeuppance
i left a DV relationship and no it wasn’t nice to my ex at times, why would I be? He was abusive. I tried to leave ‘perfectly’ but I am not perfect

I'm pretty sure IG wants a peaceful stable end to it. I've lived with a mother like Alice, they're an absolute emotional drain. She wouldn't have agreed to him having custody of the children so he had no choice but to leave.
Alice continues to put herself first and foremost, 2 years later.

I think this is it. I absolutely don't defend Alice she's a horrible woman. He decided to make an unfair prenup never changed it so Alice has decided he's going down. She wants to make sure he never works again , if she can't have the luxury life he's not going to have it. I think perhaps if he played more fair she might not be so vindictive.

I also believe she was a nightmare but to be honest he was away filming on location for long periods he got leave and escape ? His daughters bore the brunt of it and he was happy to leave them with her while he was away . My sympathy is with the kids.

I don't believe she wants him back it's money she wants and not working again. That's why she's so angry. Both of them are selfish numpties..

He may have been in an abusive relationship but the nature of his career means that he was mostly physically absent on set and in financial control. It is not the same thing as a woman in poverty living 24/7 in fear of an abusive, bigger partner.
Neither of them are putting their children first. She is focused on revenge, payback, humiliation, winning the media war. He is focused on BW, winning in court, demonising her, playing victim.

No I am a DV survivor. I have been watching it because I am and have been horrified at how women will flock to another woman suffering DV with support but look to a man that he has done things to make it worse and deserve the abuse. There is no suggestion he was dick deep in anyone seen as for many months he was in the US, with Alice and the woman was on the other side of the world. There is an invented timeline (yours) and the factual one, which I am explaining to you. He told Alice in August 2020 he was unhappy and they stayed together until Jan 2021, when he moved out and started a divorce, he then left in the summer to work and took up with his now GF later that year. It was over a year!

@Habber Their last round of IVF would have been 9 years ago. Are you saying he hasn't recovered financially in the last 9 years?

He's worked a lot in the last nine years. And now he's claiming he can't afford to pay for the children's school fees or nanny anymore.
