Don’t know if anyone has followed this, but she had an arrest warrant issued today for failing to appear in court for breaching a restraining order he has for domestic abuse. Their poor children seem like an afterthought.

Alice's fall from grace has been quite spectacular, her standard of living has nothing to do with being treated badly, just becuase others have not lived her way of life.

Anyone who has a sucessful partner, who has contributed supporting them in life usually has some expectations upon divorce, most decent men wouldn't have their ex's being humiliated by destroying them financially.

Many men are decent towards their children and ex's and try to cause the least disruption given they were selfish in starting a new life and leaving their family but it appears Ioan wants it all.

The rediculousness on this thread, a new I phone ffs.
Honestly the Ioan supporters, I'm sure they won't be happy untill they see Alice wandering arround the strets of LA homeless with liquor in a brown paper bag.

I’m not envious. I have had privilege and advantage in life. I have had had the hard knocks, divorce, bereavement, redundancy etc. I have not hard her opportunities or support which is incredibly elitist.

I don’t blame everything wrong in my life on someone else. Especially not those who have given me so much.

And yes negging on someone’s looks is an act of abuse. Doing it repeatedly in media and to others is abusive and criminal behaviour. As Alice is finding out.

There will be no book because the DVRO will never be lifted. No publisher or platform could print it.

They are one persons version of events, which is highly subjective, and will obviously leave out parts that reflect badly on themselves.

I think they're both hideous people BTW, not defending Alice at all.

Court findings are a different matter. They have been a judgement made by someone with authority and expertise. A court has found Alice Evans to be guilty of coercive control and imposed a restraining order on her for a long period of time. The judgement was clear it was based in fact and evidence not opinion.

The finding of coercive control against Alice Evans is legally a fact. Not opinion.

Do you not see a woman driven to despair, someone who has lost control and therefor has mental helath issues going on. Alice's pain is palpable, I can't see anyone wanting to be in her situation if they are honest, the fact that it is all so public aswell takes it to another level.

I honestly think the only way she will calm down is if Ioan accepts his fault and admits that he did wrong, that he hurt her and has continued to provoke, re write history, gaslight and admit to his part in a smear campaign after she was right in finding him to be adulterous.

He won't though because he now is concentrating on financially abusing her.

For everyone who thinks Alice is a narcissist, I just don't see it, I see a woman who has been driven to insanity and ill mental health. The level of hate this woman has recieved on line from people is astonishing, coupled with the hate of her ex and his partner, and her inlaws I can't believe she's actually still standing.

There seems to be little compassion for Alice.

Agree. And on the court documents when the temporary RO was made permanent, the judge made a note to say that he’d only allowed the claims where there was actual, clear evidence. Some of the claims he didn’t consider because it was via a 3rd party/hearsay and there wasn’t the original evidence submitted.

Plus, Alice had ample opportunity to submit her own evidence refuting Ioan’s claims - she did not.

The court issued the DVRO. IG didn't issue it, he asked for it, presented evidence (which AE did not refute) and was granted it. The judge made the decision based on the evidence.

What's the difference from asking for it, isueing a DVRO has to come from all courts does it not.

Will he be applying for full custody seeing as she is a domestic abuser, who is she accused of abusing Ioan or the children ?
Would anyone want to leave their children with an abuser.

I'm curious is this what every victim of abuse should do, admit fault as to by they are being abused ? Or just men who are abuse victims? The judge didn't issue a restraining order just for a bit of fun. He would have seen the evidence hence issuing it.

No, it's an order that endeavours to prevent AE from abusing IG. I'm really struggling to see your POV on this.

IG established to a judge's satisfaction that he was being abused by AE and that the legal threshold for the court to intervene to prevent further abuse had been met.

Not everyone that requests a DVRO will be awarded one.

That she is an abuser is a legal fact proven with evidence. It’s not in dispute even by her and she had the opportunity to appeal.

It’s not a gagging order. No one is allowed to do what she did. Which as a court found was to threaten, harass and abuse two other people. None of us are allowed to do that. We don’t even try to because we know it is wrong.

The restraining order places serious consequences on her for repeating the behaviour. Hence the current criminal charges.

No one has an unfettered right to say/write whatever they want about other people. We are all bound by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction in which we live.

She can write a book provided that she complies with the obligations imposed by the DVRO and does not print statements that are libellous. I imagine any publisher would be examining the legalities very carefully before agreeing to publish.

She can write the truth but she cannot tell lies. She cannot abuse or threaten anyone with the content of the book. Threatening people with the truth in order to bend them to your will or get revenge is blackmail and coercion. There are examples of her threatening to write a book in order to get him to do what she wanted. It was very explicit and it is illegal.

When people break laws they forfeit freedoms. She forfeited freedoms by harassing, threatening and abusing people.
